The removal of the concept of gender would be a small change but with huge consequences for a return to normality. And surely transsexuals are protected under sex discrimination?

Glad you agree re the Equality Act. As soon as you put the word 'gender' into legislation you are in trouble. Conversely when you keep or take the word 'gender' out of legislation you are cooking on gas. Some people on the GC side say it is too difficult to repeal the GRA (without going into the details of their arguments here) but Trump shows how you do it. If you are the Government then you can say DO IT...and it is done! Whatever they think of Reform GC people need to lobby Reform in my opinion because they are the only party who might actually do it! Obviously POW are for repeal of the GRA but ,unfortunately, I don't think KJK is going to become the PM just yet!!
If For Women Scotland win their case ( ooh tenterhooks!!) I don't think transsexuals would come under sex discrimination. If FWS lose transsexuals with GRCs would come under the Act 😩 However there are principles of unfair dismissal outside of the Equality Act. If a certain transsexual doctor called, let's say, Dr Downton 😂 goes to work dressed as a man but dresses as a woman when he is at home and gets involved in his spare time in online forums for transsexuals and presuming he is a great doctor, sacking him for his spare time life would I think clearly be unfair dismissal without him having to rely on the Equality Act.

NHSFife are getting a hammering on X & as the unions have been captured, there’s no trade union support for Sandie Peggie from Unison, Unite, the RCN or the PCSU. Pretty damning all round.
