Can’t comment on Kara Dansky’s conclusion as it’s behind a paywall. I think it’s going to be difficult to reverse what’s happened and get back to reality. But we have to keep plugging away and make life difficult got those who continue to break the law. You’ve suggested making it illegal to use wrong sex facilities and although I’m against ever more legislation, in this case it would help to redress a wrong.
If people "pass" unnoticed as the opposite sex be they females or males. I have no doubts they will continue to use the bathrooms and facilities with their adopted gender rather than their biological sex. They almost certainly have done so historically, sometimes for many decades without incident. I also suspect such people will continue to remain anonymous in grater numbers than of late so avoiding the ideological motivations.
The interesting point to see will be what will happen to the "Professional Tranny" like Buck Angel . Those who have publicised and or monetised their medical status, but otherwise may have gone unnoticed in single sex spaces if they had retained their anonymity, if and when they continue to use such spaces.
There are men who pass but they are certainly in the very low single digit percentile. They tended to keep a low profile until the "trans trend" exploded about 10 years ago. They were without exception all homosexual and so presented no sexual threat to women. They were also very small and presented little if any physical threat.
The interesting point here is, of the many Trans sex offenders or violent offenders and there are many, none of them are even close to passing. They are all dodgy looking AGP's and the occasional misdiagnosed histrionic gay dude.
