Women Will Speak! Back To Nottingham!

The Nottingham Police had failed, yet again, to guarantee the safety of Let Women Speak, so we were back at the police station. Mr Menno informed me that the trans rights activists (TRAs) were gathered at the Brian Clough statue (where we were supposed to be).

My wife was a bit under the weather, so I travelled to Nottingham solo. Due to a cancelled train, I arrived 20 minutes late. There I met my friend, Siobhan and her daughter-in-law, Lisa. Siobhan has written for this substack:

BTW the above poster, held by KJK, is a photo of local Labour MP, Nadia Whittome. On the last occasion, after we were harassed and intimidated from the central square and moved to the police station, we were looking back to see if the TRAs were following us. They weren’t. It transpired that Ms Whittome was in their midst, had witnessed their unlawful actions and then they remained in the square to listen to a speech from Ms Whittome explaining how awful we were. These people are in charge in the UK! Don’t Be That Gal!!

Anyway…there were great speeches as ever. Not an ideal venue because, of course, it was a footpath so we had to leave space for pedestrians passing through. I had a chat with Menno and Kelly Dougall and met lots of other lovely Terfs. Do come if you are in the UK and haven’t been before, they are wonderful events. And come and meet your favourite substacker 🤣

Two TRAs came down, probably to cause trouble, and one assaulted a You Tuber as reported by another You Tuber, News Now Yorkshire and was arrested ( from about 1 hr 24 mins) ( if you want to scroll further back - I’m not recommending it!! - they have shots of me darting about in my trilby doing photos 🤣):
