Dear readers

To add to the very interesting discussion in the comments here about who to vote for ( please join in) I note that the Taxpayers' Alliance has reported:

"Taxpayer support of Stonewall in 2021-22 was at least £1,221,222. That includes £709,225 from Diversity Champions, alongside £108,602 from conferences, events and training programmes and supplemented with £403,395 from grant income."

Why haven't the Tories stopped taxpayer support of Stonewall!!??

That kind of money would make a great deal of difference to many PROPER charities!!

Can we start a petition to get Stonewall shut down 🤔

Good idea, Lyndsey 😊

I might ponder who to suggest that to - any suggestions?

I saw the Diva article about labour’s proposed ‘new’ legislation banning conversion therapy & my heart sank. It’s a trans charter which will run riot with safeguarding children effectively; I can’t vote for them. Can’t vote tory, either. I’m pleased to see the reaction to RipCurl promoting a trannie over Bethany Hamilton; it’s caused a right stink in Australia. Mixed news from America but I think the tide is turning there. Agree totally with Feminist Claire about Debbie Hayton; a very dangerous man. I noted on the jester’s video that the BBC is fully captured; that’s why I was surprised that they interviewed Jo Phoenix on Woman’s Hour. KJK’s video on the cartoon was brilliant, as was her skewering of Anne Hathaway’s cringe-making kowtowing to the trans cult. Agree with you about Eliot Gould’s performance in The Long Goodbye; he was much more subtle than the other actors who played the part. Thanks for the great update, Dusty. Much appreciated. X here I come.

Thanks, Liz

I agree with you on all that. I think the Tories have presided over the gender borg taking over everything - they could have stopped it and they didn't. I don't trust them either. it is made easier in our constituency. My wife and me have sent many missives on this subject to our local Tory MP who has remained sat firmly on the waffly fence. When she does occasionally slip off she slips off on the wrong side!! Next problem - even in the unlikely event that the Labour candidate turns out to be a Rosie Duffield supporter that won't stop the Labour Party doing what they have said they will do. If there is a Party of Women candidate I will vote for them.

I can however fully understand why some people on our side are considering voting Tory.

Glad you agree re Debbie H.

Thanks as ever for sending around on X.

I agree Liz, another brilliant update with tons to get our teeth into. Thanks Dusty.

The Feminist Claire piece is brilliant and she’s right… anyone who has trained as a teacher should know all this. So how are universities churning out such utterly captured cultists.

My heart sank too over Labour. What a terrifying prospect. But if the Conservatives start to get their act together on this issue, I may vote for them. It’s a difficult decision as they’ve been so useless.

If I have to watch any more fawning women (including those almost stroking Alok) I think I’m going to 🤮.

Thanks, TT.

The Tories really need to do some actual things eg amend the Equality Act to make sex mean biological sex, put in strong transgender guidance for schools, ban gender affirming care... Fine words butter no parsnips!!

I agree re fawning women. Still shocked at Jodie Foster!! I love KJK's response video style - reminds me of Magdalen Berns.

I agree, it’s a quandary. I can’t see them doing anything before the election.

The RHS has been captured now. I cancelled my membership yesterday. I explained in detail my reasons and I suggested some reading for them, including your substack.

OMG, TT!!

I read this and went and grabbed my latest copy of the RHS's Garden Magazine ( which I hadn't yet looked at) and read the LGBT WTF LOL editorial in a state of shock!! I will join you in ending my membership and writing to them. I can't believe it! Thanks for suggesting my substack 😊

Great! After explaining my objections to GI/ queer theory I then complained about the proliferation of LGBT+ stuff being shoved down our throats everywhere and that now I “cant even potter in my garden without being made aware of the sexual proclivities of gardeners who have gone before me.”

Haha nice one, TT! I don’t think this will go down well with RHS members! When were members given a chance to express an opinion on this? I have been a member for some 40 years!! It has just been imposed on us!

A Gypsy woman (Super Terf 😊) I know informs me that increasing numbers of Gypsy families are taking their children out of school because of this GI madness. She has worked for years to persuade Gypsies to keep their children in school. Now her hard work is being undone!

Grrrr

Great substack again Dusty. I can’t believe (well I can actually) the gaul of the Labour Party. They have lost me as a life long lefty!

Thanks, Lyndsey

Interesting that Labour now feel so confident that they are just dropping all pretence that they might support some of our side of the argument. Albeit that I had stopped believing them several years ago!! A local Labour guy phoned me up recently (I used to help out with leafletting some years ago) and probably wished he hadn't after I had fully explained all of the problems with Labour's approach. 😂

Which leaves us all in a quandary as to what to do at the election, of course!!

Absolutely! I’m not a Tory at all, although I do admire Kami Badenoch for her stance on this. I think I’m going to have to be a single issue voter this time! 🤷🏻‍♀️
