And women especially are brought up to be kind and support the tribe for those reasons. It’s a human instinct. We also have decades of leftie indoctrination to contend with- be kind, you are an evil white colonialist. But in the modern era, I think this is a cop out. We all have free will and the ability to think critically; to weigh up ideas and make decisions based on facts and evidence. It takes bravery to do this and stand against the prevailing tribal opinion. We see this throughout history. The people who’ve righted wrongs in the face of opposition, are brave. So, this will sound harsh, but I think that at the heart of the be kind brigade, is cowardice. They use the cloak of ideology to shield themselves from scrutiny but they are essentially cowards who use the tactics of the bully to protect themselves and their ideology. We often say that if everyone had spoken out years ago, had shown some bravery, children could have been protected from this vile ideology. So for that reason alone, I have no patience with the be kind mob and despise them. Other opinions are available. 😁

I agree, there is a lot of ignorance but again, I’m past excusing that. None of us knew about gender ideology in the beginning. We all took the trouble to find out as much as we could and we ended up with facts and evidence at our fingertips. This enabled us to use our critical thinking ability and form an educated opinion. We’ve all gone on to try and do our bit, however small. Not easy and I’ve lost friends over it as have most of us….and many have suffered far more. So again, I think cowardice is at the heart of it- the deliberate bullies as well as the deliberately ignorant.

When I peaked in 2019 I then spent until early 2023 getting as much info as I could about the Gender Borg and free speech ( plus I was working at the time ) before I felt confident to launch this substack. However you could just read one book ( Helen Joyce's Trans perhaps and that would give you sufficient information).

There is indeed a great deal of ignorance on all sides of the debate. The general public sees all "Trans" people as a homogeneous blob, where in reality there very different groups and people involved in what is the modern "Transgender" movement.
They can be excused to a degree most of the current psychiatric approach to treating patients presenting with distress over their perceived gender is woeful. 30 years back most of these people wouldn't have made it past the receptionist at a gender clinic.
GC groups and individuals are equally guilty in seeing these people as all the same when they are not. Some of this is deliberate in ignoring anything which may contradict their stated view or political objectives. Not all male trans people are AGP in fact very few are the vast majority are transvestites who's fetish has gotten out of control. Blanchard's typology was a very blunt instrument for dissecting what is a very diverse set of individuals.
The trouble is, leaving the confused children to one side, that it is very rare for one of the larping men to admit that he is a man. If they all stopped doing that then in many ways the problem would be solved at least as regards the adults!!!!!!
I’m afraid I disagree that GC people lump everyone together as an AGP. I’ve seen lots of podcasts, articles and debates which discuss the different kinds of problems that people have. A lot of focus is on children and they could hardly be classed as AGP. Having said that, the cult of gender ideology has been driven by AGPs who have pushed the ideology into schools etc in order to legitimise their fetishes. Then big pharma saw a way of making money and jumped on the bandwagon. But AGPs need the children for legitimacy and they’ve shamefully used them. Take AGPs out of the equation and the whole thing would never have got off the ground.
I agree, TT. Even David Hayton who is unusual in saying he is a man also accepts that he is an AGP. It must take a very strong fetishistic urge for a man to have the front to put on a wig and dress and present himself in public as a woman!! Do not believe they are the opposite sex, they are very much aware of which sex they actually are, it is that which causes them the distress.

If they are male (or female) they are are painfully aware of that fact but it seems so entirely alien to them that is causes them to experience a sense of disassociation from themselves. Like they are somehow adrift. Dependent upon it's severity this causes them experience quite intense anxiety.
They are often in extreme states of constant anxiety which inevitably leads to clinical depression.
Now there is inevitably a trigger for this somewhere in their life and in most cases it can resolve with counselling and drugs,. However there are rare cases where it will not resolve. In those rare cases transition treatments can be the last hope for some sort of resolution but that is by no means assured.
