Please let me have any suggested additions. I have been updating it with additions so this is the latest list for you to double check. Please bear in mind the original series of films.
It seems to me that, since the Supreme Court judgment, we have been seeing The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. So I have pulled that great Western forward in the alphabetical list!
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is actually the third in Sergio Leone’s classic Dollars Trilogy. All about buried treasure and, of course, good against evil.
Spoiler alert! The scene below is the final ‘Mexican standoff’ between Blondie ( Clint Eastwood), Tuco ( Eli Wallach) and Angel Eyes ( Lee Van Cleef).
Thanks to two wonderful readers for suggested pieces.

The For Women Scotland Judgment - Even More Aftermath
The reports below continue the very annoying practice in the media of referring to ‘transgender women’.
Anyway, starting with the Good. The English and Scottish Football Associations are banning larping men from all women’s football. 🎉
Alex Young in The Evening Standard (FA to ban transgender women from playing women's football in England 01 May) reports:
© The FA via Getty Images
Transgender women will be banned from playing women’s football across all levels of the English game from June 1, the Football Association (FA) has ruled.
The UK Supreme Court ruled on April 16 that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, which prompted English football’s governing body to review its policy.
Currently, trans women are allowed to compete in the women’s game. That will end on June 1, 2025.
The FA had said in April, before the Supreme Court ruling, that trans women would be allowed to continue playing should they exhibit low levels of testosterone for 12 months, as well as provide a medical record of hormone therapy and an annual review of treatment.
According to BBC Sport, no transgender women are currently playing professional football in England, but that figure does not include those involved in grassroots football.

The updated policy goes beyond global governing body FIFA, which has been conducting a gender eligibility review for more than three years without any conclusion.
The Scottish Football Association's change follows the UK Supreme Court ruling that a female is defined by biological sex.
From next season, only players who were female at birth will be allowed to play in women's football over the age of 13 in Scotland.
The new policy emulates blanket bans on trans women in women's sport introduced by athletics, cricket and rugby.

Moving on to The Bad. Hampstead Ladies Pond are doubling down. Hopefully some legal action will ensue!

Jacob Paul in LBC News ( Hampstead Ladies pond allows trans women to access space as feminists vow to 'reclaim' bathing spot May) reports:
Hampstead Heath Ladies’ Pond has refused to ban transgender women from accessing the popular swimming spot, despite a Supreme Court ruling.
Earlier this month, the UK’s highest court ruled that only biological women are deemed legally female.
It means that trans women will not be legally able to enter women's only spaces.
But Kenwood Ladies’ Pond in Hampstead Heath has said it's keeping its inclusive self-ID policy introduced by the City of London Corporation in 2019.
The London authority confirmed the controversial policy would “remain in effect at this time” despite the Supreme Court judgement.
Feminist campaigners have blasted the move, labelling it “invasive, discriminatory and unlawful”.
Fiona McAnena, director of campaigns at the human rights charity Sex Matters, told The Telegraph: “Feminist campaigners have been telling the City of London for years that its policy allowing men into facilities such as Kenwood Ladies’ Pond on Hampstead Heath is invasive, discriminatory and unlawful, but those women were ignored.
“Now the Supreme Court’s decision makes the inclusion of men in designated women’s spaces untenable."

April/May 2025
Dear friends, family and all our supporters
So much has happened since our last update sent out just a month ago. The biggest and most exciting news is of course the decision of the UK Supreme Court which has
unanimously ruled that the meaning of “sex” in the Equality Act 2010 is “biological sex” and not “certificated sex” (sex as allegedly modified by ownership of a Gender Recognition Certificate). Scottish Government Ministers had argued that “sex” meant “certificated sex” as a default interpretation. The group 'For Women Scotland' challenged this, and won.
New Zealand doesn't of course have an Equalities Act, nor do we have Gender Recognition Certificates, but nevertheless the ruling has huge significance for us. Our equivalent legislation is the Human Rights Act 1993 and since the Births, Deaths, Marriages and Relationships Registration Act 2021 came into force, New Zealanders who believe they are the opposite sex to their biological one, simply have to make a declaration before a Justice of the Peace and pay a small fee to have their sex changed on official documents.
New Zealand thus has the incoherent position referred to in the UK ruling where males (or females) who believe they have a female (or male) gender can have their sex changed on their official documents and be recorded as female (or male) on birth certificates, passports, drivers' licences etc.
In addition, following advice (erroneous in our view) from the Human Rights Commission, Government Departments and many private organisations prioritise the rights of transwomen (biological males) to have access to women's spaces over the rights of women to have women only spaces. The mantra - 'trans women are women' is accepted as a truth by our Human Rights Commission.
Substack writer Void If Removed has explained what the word lesbian would have meant if the Scottish government’s definition of sex had prevailed.
"Lesbian would have meant variously: a lesbian woman; a heterosexual man who says he is a woman; the female partner of a heterosexual man who says he is a woman."
How will our government respond to the ruling from the UK Supreme Court? Will the wording in our Human Rights legislation which gives women sex-based rights be upheld as referring to biological women or will the government continue with its incoherent position that men who call themselves women actually are.
New Zealand feminist organisation Speak Up For Women (SUFW) presented a petition to Parliament in March this year calling for the House of Representatives to define "sex" in the Human Rights Act 1993 and any other legislation as having the biological meaning. The petition is based on the belief that if the word 'sex' in legislation such as the HRA is interpreted to mean anything other than the biological meaning, women and girls can't rely on sex-based rights to keep them safe and able to participate fully in society. SUFW know that women need (some) facilities, services, sports and opportunities that are just for them.
The petition, just like LAVA's views which led to us being excluded from the Pride fair, is totally aligned with the unanimous ruling from the UK Supreme Court.
We wait with great interest to see what will happen in government and in our case.
Meanwhile LAVA's lawyer approached Pride's lawyers hoping that they might concede that given the views LAVA holds are in complete alignment with the views expressed in the Supreme Court ruling, they can hardly be considered as unworthy of protection in a democratic society. If they had agreed it was estimated we could have saved two weeks of Court time, which of course is significant in terms of everyone's time and would also be a considerable cost saving.
Unfortunately their lawyers took the view that the ruling applied only to the interpretation of the Equalities Act 2010 and has no relevance to our case. What can we say? !!
You may remember that last month we had an all out effort to see if we could raise $50,000 by easter. Thanks to your generosity we have had the best fundraising month since we started our campaign so although we didn't get to what was a very ambitious target we have now raised over $35,000 in total.
We are delighted with this and want to thank you all for your support.
Remember you can make a regular weekly or monthly donation directly into
our bank account: 06 0730 0417676 50
Every dollar donated brings us closer to our target. Please give what you can.
And please share this message with your family, friends and social media followers.
You can follow us on X: @lavaAotearoa.
And just in case you’ve forgotten, the opinions we hold, which Wellington Pride and its expert witnesses have alleged are not worthy of legal protection because they are bigoted, hateful and harmful, are that:
people can’t change sex
lesbians (and gay men) are same sex attracted
there are times when sex (as in biology) matters.

Garwhoungle on her substack, The Ministry has fallen does a great round up not only of the Supreme Court judgment but also including: Health Minister Casey Costello telling Health NZ to start using sex specific language; NZ First introducing a bill that would define man and woman; lots of the mainstream media, politicians and others whining about the poor, oppressed larping men; and others such as SpeakUp For Women and the Women’s Rights Party talking sense.
My favourite bit is where she refers to the Prime Minister, Mr Hipkins:
Hipkins makes no mention of the clear evidence that Health NZ staff members have been playing a time-consuming game of Taboo that involves talking about women’s health without using the word women.

Plus Ça Change
The NZ Herald clings to an ideology crumbling all around the world.
Apr 29, 2025
Just when you think the winds have changed, they really haven’t.
Following the revolutionary ruling from the UK Supreme Court that sex is real and binary, optimistic gender criticals marvelled that the New Zealand Herald had finally got the memo. A day after the ruling, the nation’s largest newspaper actually published an opinion piece written by their head of business, Fran O’Sullivan, on why the decision matters for women’s rights.
Writer Katrina Biggs remarked on X that Fran O’Sullivan’s description of Posie Parker as “British pro-women activist” was the first time this phrase had ever been used in mainstream media. “How times have changed,” she wrote.
Except they hadn’t.
Cherubic senior reporter Chelsea Daniels was on the case. Clearly such heretical truths could not be left for the unprogressive proles to take on board. Ten days later Daniels produced an article and podcast on the issue calling for a New Zealand response to the UK Supreme Court ruling.
She did note that a government coalition partner, New Zealand First, had already introduced a members bill to “ensure the biological definition of a man and woman are defined in law.”
But that wasn’t quite the New Zealand response she was after. Daniels wondered aloud whether such a move as the UK ruling could be translated here. Could it? The sex binary? Ridiculous obv because New Zealanders reproduce in a unique and special way yet to be appreciated and recognised by science.
Dusty - I loved ‘New Zealanders reproduce in a unique and special way yet to be appreciated and recognised by science.’ 😂

Excellent piece on their substack from Resist Gender Education who provide a list of books for young children which promote the Gender Woo. A very useful list for any parent. They also mention some books that actually promote reality!
Picture book propaganda
NZ libraries are pushing gender nonsense to pre-schoolers. (Part One)
May 01, 2025
“A wide range of opinions, values and views should be reflected in the library stock and online accessible materials. All communities that are served by the public library should have representation in the resources of the children’s library.”
So says the ILFA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) and this grand statement is endorsed by LIANZA (the Library and Information Association of NZ Aotearoa).
LIANZA needs to explain then, why our survey of ten NZ public libraries found dozens of picture books promoting gender identity beliefs and almost none telling children the truth about sex.
The following books are aimed at 2-8 year olds and are mostly freely available in the picture book bins in the children’s section of the libraries.
Top 25 Sex Denialist picture books
The figures in brackets denote the total number of copies of each title that were found in the public library catalogues for Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Napier, Taranaki, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
We have grouped the books according to the main ideological message they contain.

The States - Retribution
Excellent piece on the substack for Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans:
Retribution is Coming!
Gender ghouls and zealots, beware.
May 01, 2025
Attention: Medical practitioners, hospitals, and clinics who exploit and mutilate children under the guise of “gender affirming care”; politically captured profiteers who betray parents; “professionals” who employ junk science and false claims to justify the barbaric practice of chemically castrating and surgically maiming children; doctors motivated by ideology, profits, or both – Get ready! U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice are coming for you!
On April 22, 2025, AG Bondi released a memorandum to all employees of the Department of Justice and select Component Heads with the subject line: Preventing the Mutilation of American Children.
The memorandum has five sections running over six pages, outlining how AG Bondi is going to deploy every tool available to “enforce rigorous protections and hold accountable those who prey on vulnerable children and their parents.” She reveals that every day she hears “harrowing stories” of the suffering caused by the “unconscionable ideology behind ‘gender-affirming care’” and promises that under her leadership “the Department of Justice will bring these practices to an end”.
AG Bondi promises to:
I. Direct all U.S. Attorneys to investigate all suspected cases of female genital mutilation performed under the banner of so-called “gender affirming care” or otherwise, and to prosecute all offenses to the fullest extent possible.
II. Investigate and hold accountable medical providers and pharmaceutical companies that mislead the public about the long-term side effects of chemical and surgical mutilation.
III. Identify and purge all Department policies, memoranda, and publications and court filings based on WPATH guidelines.
IV. Launch the Attorney General’s Coalition Against Child Mutilation and partner with state attorney’s general to identify leads, share intelligence, and build cases against hospitals and practitioners violating federal or state laws banning female genitalia mutilation and other, related practices.
V. Instruct the Office of Legislative Affairs to draft legislation creating a private right of action for children and the parents of children whose healthy body have been damaged and establish a long statute of limitations and retroactive liability, so that no one providing “treatment” will escape liability.
PITT Parents, could it be that this is the moment when the tide finally turns once and for all? Will we actually see the prosecution of exploiters and profiteers? Will we be vindicated for holding the line and speaking the truth? Will our children finally understand that our actions are based in unconditional love for them? Do we dare hope that, at long last, this barbaric medical scandal will come to an end? Can we exhale?

Go, AG Bondi!!!!!!
Trans On Trial
LGB Alliance write ( 01 May):
In 2023, Mermaids failed in their attempt to have LGB Alliance removed from the Charitable register in a court case that made headlines worldwide.
The astonishingly, dramatic, passionate – and occasionally hilarious – proceedings were made into a stage production, Mermaids Vs The Alliance, that played for one night only to a packed house in Camden.
Now that incredible story has moved from stage to screen and you can watch it here.
Revisit the cheers, and tears, in a case that changed the world.
Dusty - I haven’t watched it yet. If you watch it, please let us have your thoughts on it. Or even do us a review 😊

Dear readers
A heads up that Mr Menno is doing a premiere tonight at 21.00GMT about him smuggling his way into a Marxist pro-trans talk!! Hope to see some of you in the chat 😄
Let me know if you get to watch the new film Trans on Trial.
Dusty
I watched the play and really enjoyed the performances. Part-way through I was thinking: 'this is the debate which the other side vowed would never be allowed: and you can see why.' The stuttering, avoidance of questions, falling back on mantra's etc. the total lack of any coherence or referral to actual reality. More power to your elbow, LGB Alliance!
