I am Irish but I live in England to the west of Birmingham in what is known as 'The Black Country' - it got this name because it was heavily industrialised but I am afraid it is no longer heavily industrialised.
I enjoyed doing the job I did but I am very happy to retire and pleased to have more time to dedicate to the Terf Resistance. And to other things as well, of course 😊
Yes, you even have reports from New Zealand - lol! I would say that there's a touch more reporting from your neck of the woods than elsewhere, but that's because there's so much to report from there. I hope your retirement goes well - I'm semi-retired myself, and enjoy the freedom which comes with that. We spend a lot of years working to earn a living, and being who we need to be to stay in employment, so it's interesting to see who we start becoming once we're no longer as tied to being who we have to be. Of course, our personality and character stays with us no matter where we are or what we do, but other aspects of those emerge once we have more freedom to let them. I shall continue following your reports with interest, and who knows what wee changes I might notice in them in the coming time :-)
My job could be very 24/7 on occasions so it does feel a little like out of the frying pan into the fire but I enjoy my new role as 'citizen journalist', a phrase coined by Glinner. If us Terfs were relying on the MSM we would be in trouble!
I do get an excess of info from the States ( given how it is there with different things going on in different states) so I have to cut that down a bit plus there are good round ups produced by Terfs over there such as LGB Alliance USA or Woman:Adult Human Female.
