I get a bit angry when I read about disabled women being mistreated, spent my life seeing how society treats disabled people. My mum has polio and I was pushing her about in a wheelchair before I was tall enough to see over it. I've accidentally clipped the ankles of a few inconsiderate people in my time.
Lots of interesting stuff to digest here Dusty, thank you.
Like, I mean, a feminist, an actual woman, A WOMAN, being portrayed as a Nazi by a WHITE GUY controlling a land mass in the southern hemisphere? Eff. You. See. Kay. Oh. Fuckity. Fuck.
I, personally, as a white western european, proud to be British, yay Brexit let's do it, poorly educated Englishman, am sick of the western patriarchal philosophy that "makes the world go round" I'm fed up to the back teeth with it.
Ladies, please, squash the men and shoulder the blame for a few decades at least. Let me die a deluded man believing that we've cracked the glass ceiling.
White male hegemony is a huge problem from what I can tell, huge, too big to conquer perhaps?
A long read, Dusty but well worth it. So much has happened this year it’s hard to keep up. Thanks for all your hard work this year; I’ve enjoyed all the films & Articles you’ve written. 👏👏👏
Teresa Medhurst, chief exec of SPS said “Every individual in the ‘care’ of the SPS is treated with dignity, respect, their rights upheld and any risks managed”. All except the women, she should have added.
Piers Morgan is right- why aren’t more women refusing to participate in sports with men ( well done pool ladies). I’m sick of seeing men on podiums with women with rictus grins on their faces. The women, at the very least, could wear an adult human t shirt or hold up a sign of some kind.
Thanks Dusty, lots of useful legal challenges happening 😁
You're welcome, TT and agree with all of that - I actually meant to include the photo from the cycling article where the woman on the bronze podium had exactly that kind of rictus grin and her arm around the bloke - have a word!
Agreed, TT but perhaps Piers Morgan could also have said ‘why aren’t more men speaking up, too?’ I think more women will speak up now that the ball’s started rolling.
She's great, isn't she, especially for someone who has come into the battle relatively recently. If I get a chance I want to see if I can find more details about the legal challenge which, as Konstantin said, is much more significant than I realised!
What a total disgrace the Australian Human Rights Commission is!!! Ditching women's rights completely!!

Whoa, keep on terfing, Matthew you're doing grand.
I'm going to try and cheer you up from an unusual direction. Try this male Muslim comedian (!!!) Malik Elassal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy96iuq94Ko&t=346s
Could he go on Endpiece do you think?
Dusty
That is really funny, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, Matthew. he's good isn't he!
His therapist! "We can't both be mentally ill!"
Dusty
Yes he is. You should definitely use it. I've shared it with a few people.
Thanks, Matthew
I have the next endpiece sorted already but will use it for the one after that 😊

Onwards with the legal challenges 😊

What a great offer by Riley Gaines!!
Dusty
Good point and let’s hope you’re right.
Wow, hadn’t realised how amazing Sal Grover is. What a clear thinker.

Yes, good stuff from The Countess. Sounds like you've been a great son. 😊
