Yes, I do have a favourite subject, don't I? Lol! Just as a fyi, although I'm very happy that you cross-post my blogpieces, if you feel they're repetitive, or not of much interest, feel free to give them a miss :-)

I don't know how you felt about Jordan Peterson's interview of Graham Linehan and Andrew Doyle, but I found that after about an hour, I'd had enough of hearing him constantly interrupting and talking over the other two, so I didn't watch the next hour of it. It was very frustrating not to be able to hear them talk for any length of time, for a lot of it, without Jordan having to jump in and say stuff.

Hi Katrina

I feature you often because you (a) are very interesting in your discussions ( especially on language😃); (b) provide lots of useful information and (c) keep us updated on things in NZ.

The interview was overlong and Jordan did keep interjecting a bit too much but do try the second hour because there is a lot of interesting discussion especially on the question of art in general. I think it was better than the totally deadpan approach of the interviewer with Clementine Breen. It was fortuitous because there was discussion of art ( all forms of art) facing woke control and cancellation and art under a totalitarian regime ( lots of similarities there!!) which coincided with me watching the Chinese film.

I also watched an interview between Menno and academic lawyer Michael Foran and, though good, decided not to refer to that at all because non-lawyers would probably lose the will to live after about 15 minutes I felt 😄

Thanks for standing up for our language. It’s the basis of everything. Without words, how do we define ourselves? Language creates thought, control the language and you control thought.

That One Second film looks interesting and I love the haggises. Can I adopt one?

I keep thinking about the parents who’ve been bamboozled into harming their children with puberty blockers. How must they be feeling now?

Thanks Dusty, lots to digest as ever.

You're welcome, TT.

One Second is marvellous - check it out.

The haggises😀

Yes, how do Clementine Breen's parents feel now!! They are fortunate that she has turned out to be such a brave and sensible young woman!

There is an adoption scheme but you’d have to go & live in northern Scotland to ensure your bona fides. 🤪

Oh no! I’d probably have to swear allegiance to the lgbt queer haggis brigade. Think I’ll pass. 😁

No need to worry about that. The Haggis Council has outlawed trans ideology because of what they’ve seen in the rest of Scotland.

🎉 hooray 🤣

Haggises are saner than the SNP then….not difficult though.
