Thanks, Dusty. I, too, see an incapable man in a role that he is not suited for. He clearly panicked in the face of something he didn't understand, i.e. people doing things without every detail being viewed from a PR angle. This exchange shows it clearly:

He has no idea what honest people do. For him, everything is filtered through the lens of media approbation. I hope his constituents see what a poor politician he is, and that only the opinion of the Press matters to him.

On another topic, I understand the verdicts in Gisèle Pélicot's case are expected to be handed down tomorrow (I don't know if sentencing is immediate in France, though). I'm on tenterhooks - I hope the judge does what we all feel he should, but fear that he won't.
I agree re Pesutto plus his team must be to blame as well. By this date all the old defamatory allegations about Kellie-Jay (many arising from the simple fact that she can't know exactly who is turning up at a LWS event) had been well and truly shredded but his team dug them all out again without any further examination. Also he and his team were listening to the MSM who are happy to peddle the old lies even after they have been disproven. Moira is a bit inexperienced to be the Liberal Party leader but could they parachute a GC person in there!! Pesutto is toast!
Yes. It looks like they were running around like headless chickens in the first couple of days, got cornered by their poor response, then manipulated by trans-ideologues. Moira may be inexperienced, but I think she'd have shown more nous in a similar position.
The Liberals were also running scared of Labour who were happily trumpeting all the lies and misinformation. If Pesutto had simply backed up Moira it might have been the Labour Leader Mr Andrews facing the defamation action!!
