FF, FG ,SF, Green are all away with the fairies; they’re obsessed with the fruit loops. I’m so sorry that you had to wade through that slew of loopyfestos, Dusty. Aontu it is.
Indeed it did; I think they’re a tad behind the times. Nobody with any sense votes for socialism any more; it’s bared its bloody yellow fangs too often in the last ten years. I had to laugh, though. They take themselves so seriously. 😂
Here's a short report of the experiences of a Scandinavian trans widow. I'm sure there are trans widows in Ireland who have been abused similarly. We already know about Jennifer, who interviewed with Graham many years ago.
As an Irish woman married to an American Jew, which party doesn’t believe that Israel should cease to exist and the Muslim pro Hamas marches with anti semitic tropes are just fine and dandy?
I'm afraid I was just looking at their views on gender ideology and free speech, Lisa but I do provide a link to each manifesto / policy document so you can find out their views on other issues.
Lots of talk about LGBTXY rights and would still love to know what rights LGBTXYZ don't have that everyone else apparently does. I'd especially like to know what rights "intersex" people don't have (sad for them having been dragged into this whole alphabet soup unwittingly for what amounts to a genetic disorder of sorts. I mean, there should really be a letter for every genetic disorder then). And how do you fight for the rights of a group that you can't even define. Yeah I'm look at you, Queer people. Define yourself so you can have your rights fought for. Or we could all just man up (don't shoot me for using that, you know what I mean) and get on with life as we are and ignore non existent problems.
Anyway, I digress. I'm rooting for Aontú, obvs. Do they have any chance?
From an Irish background myself, I wonder what my parents would have made of this lot. I can guess we'd all be rooting for Aontu, but what a sorry state of affairs, with Ireland trying to outCanada Canada. Great work Dusty.
Unfortunately I don’t think it can come under defamation but it might come under the heading of negligence if , for example, a detransitioner took a case.

Thanks, Liz, and thanks for the great and very appropriate endpiece!
Loved 'loopyfestos'😀
Solidarity's read like it had been written at the union bar at the university.

Hi Liz and agreed.
I sent the update to Glinner who thanked me and I said only read what Solidarity say if you want a good laugh!!

All of them believe in the existence of Israel, of course. Why wouldn’t you know this?
See my response to Lisa above.
Dusty
Fantastic and useful work Dusty, well done.

Hi Tracy
Agreed and well done going for Aontú.
Insofar as you can trust the opinion polls this one reported in the Irish Times shows Aontú at 3% but Independents at 20%. https://www.irishtimes.com/politics/2024/11/14/election-2024-poll-support-for-independents-jumps-but-fine-gael-remains-most-popular-party/

If only we had a decent party up here in scottishland , this amused me and it’s in the public domain so fingers crossed my sharing works

Hilary Cass would be justified suing for defamation...

Dusty
Thank you for all your work on this. I do have a vote - I don't like most of Aontú policies but I cannot vote for any of the others....
