Some great films on that list. Lord of the Rings had to be there, so many great moments in each film (I have the extended versions on DVD which makes so much more sense of the story) - I just love Aragorn’s speech at the Black Gate.
I’d I’d got round to sending in my suggestions there’d be a few classic westerns and Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies - but how to reduce it down to a list of 5 !!!!
It is very difficult/ impossible to cut your list down to 5!!
Yes could have done with Astaire/Rogers and shame no Westerns nominated. I love Once Upon a Time in the West, High Noon and Dead Man but they didn't get on my list after much thought.
I am willing to reveal at this stage that Lord of the Rings made it to Number 2. But what, then, beat it at Number 1!! You'll have to wait for tomorrow.😎

Yes, it’s an interesting list. Some films I’d forgotten about and some I’d never heard of. Agree about Astaire/Rogers, I’d forgotten them. I think
Lord of the Rings was one of my choices but I’ve forgotten that too! Too many senile moments these days. 😁
Happy New Year everyone.
