Thanks Dusty. I see there’s another film buff on here for you, unlike me and my ignorance. 😁

There’s so much concerning stuff still happening and it’s incredible that businesses etc still think that they can discriminate against sex realists, despite the numerous court wins.

My thoughts on the Bilek piece are in my comment to her. There’s nothing more horrific than the thought of designer babies grown to order on top of all the other horrors of the gender industry. Not to mention the immense power these people will wield once reproduction is in their hands. It makes me glad I’m old but I really fear for our grandchildren.

I know the Laurel and Hardy film but only because my brother is a huge fan and has all their films. I’m a Chaplin fan.

You're welcome, TT.

Yes we now have someone who knows a lot more about films than I do.

Jennifer B's work is really chilling!

Btw, the only thing I disagree with Bilek about is her dismissal of Marxism as part of the picture whereas the mindset which wants to rule the world in order to create Utopia, is, I think, behind much of transhumanism. They think they are doing good and by making profit they can do more ‘good’ as they see it.

Yes that is a good point and I agree with you. Cultural Marxism is clearly involved especially with the people coming out of the universities.

I sent to Jennifer Bilek what I thought was a well-argued piece describing the march of cultural Marxism through the institutions. Her somewhat curt reply said that I was dead wrong on that issue & it had nothing to do with the rise of the genderborg.

Have you got the piece still Liz?

Yes can I see the piece as well please, Liz.

I am sure Jennifer is right that the millions poured in to the Arkos Foundation, the Gill Foundation etc by the likes of Stryker and Gill are enormously influential but I still feel that a lot of the Cultural Marxists have hold in the universities and send their message and their disciples out from there.

Exactly, the money gives them power over others in order to force their ideology.

Oh dear, that’s surprising. The Long March through the Insitutions has been going on since the Frankfurt School where their policy was to spread Marxist thinking across society by training people for education and the media. I think we’re seeing the result of that clearly now and as far as I’m concerned Martine Rothblatt and others seem to have fallen for Queer Theory which is at least partly the result of Marxist ideology. I can’t see how gender ideology etc. can be explained purely by the profit motive. They really believe they’re creating Utopia.

What a keen sense of humour you have, Dusty, headlining a page on gender wars with 1 of the hottest heterosexual couples ever caught on film together. They became neighbours, friends for life & traveled together, when Connery died Andress was quoted as saying, "There are no men like him today." Truth! Connery singlehandedly turned 007 into global sensation & 2nd generation family business that reportedly was just sold for, yes, 1 BILLION DOLLAR$, pinky in mouth, pls., Dr. Evil, while stroking white 🙀!

To be honest that was an accident since I was trying to get closest to an evil billionaire who might be equal to Rothblatt or Gill etc I was tempted by Peter Sellers and Dr Strangelove but thought comedy wouldn't fit!! Ursula Andress was actually dubbed in Dr No I understand!!

Connery reminds me of Michael Caine. Neither of them bothered to try doing accents 😂You obviously have a great knowledge of film, thanks for your interesting comments. I didn't know they were friends for life!!

Really this update was more (in terms of quantity) of an education special. What film might that have brought to mind? The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie perhaps?

Wow! So much going on I don't know where to begin (why they call it trivia). Ironically the villain played by Johnathan Pryce in Tomorrow Never Dies, speaking of evil billionaires, is a Rupert Murdoch lampoon, releasing new tech. into the market complete with viruses already built in. I overlooked mentioning OP Bond universe never had equivalent to what is going on today in gender wars, even Blofeld's Angels of Death in OHMSS threaten biological warfare rather than mutilating, castrating, sterilizing "gender affirming care" & lifetime chemical hormone regimes (any remake today Angels would all be TWAM, coupla Connery baddies only went as far as drag, though 007 himself used yellowface in You Only Live Twice). Dame Maggie wonderful & sadly posthumous tribute, Miss Brodie also works in some timely contemporary politics. FYI she was Broadway friends with Kathleen Turner & YouTube has EXCELLENT interview with both of them (also worth watching her duet Cole Porter with pal Dame Diana Rigg in Evil Under the Sun, their offspring would co-star in television Christie). Last one, years later Bette Davis of all people would play distaff Dr. No in Madame Sin television movie with her buddy RJ Wagner, scariest thing in performance is her blue eye shadow. Ttfn!

That is very comprehensive, thanks very much. I like the point about the Angels of Death!! I have also previously featured Maggie Smith in one of of my favourite films, The Lady In The Van.😁

Watch her perform "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Oh! What a Lovely War on YouTube, also Carol Burnett Show, playing tart opposite Burnett as HRH.
