Dear readers

I have now submitted my response. To be honest I mainly just kept repeating the following (in case this assists):

"Conversion therapy regarding sexual orientation is vanishingly rare if it happens at all.

These proposals will result in those who are trying to help distressed and confused children who have body dysmorphia being prevented from doing so .

The evidence in the Cass Interim Review and in the book 'Time to Think' by Hannah Barnes shows that 80 to 90% of those referred to the Gender Identity

Development Service at the Tavistock Centre ( now shut down due to bad practice) were same sex attracted . There was a dark joke at GIDS that soon

there would be no gay or lesbian people left. Therefore what you are actually seeking to assist by this process is the destruction of the lives of gay and

lesbian children. You are actually promoting gay conversion.

'Suppress' is a very low test.

I support the response from the Gay Men's Network.

I also believe that this will result in breaches of the Human Rights Act namely article 6( right to a fair hearing since gender critical people do not believe in

gender identity), article 8 (private and family life since children can report on their parents), article 9 ( right to freedom of conscience, thought and religion

including gender critical belief - see Forstater v CGD) and article 10 (freedom of expression)."

Hope this helps a bit

Dusty
