It is the most elaborate fiction that has been constructed since the Salem Witch Trials. It is all lies. It is all destructive of the rights of women, children, gays and lesbians. When I kicked off this substack in February 2023, there was really only wonderful JL on the Glinner Update doing a kind of ‘round up’ - so I joined her as it were. Now there are several excellent round ups which make my job a lot easier. There is Kara Dansky, mainly but not exclusively, looking at the States. And now Kara reports that Jo Bartosch is to start a UK round up!

The slow death of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

For the past few years, woke has been on life support. Back in 2020, police officers knelt for Black Lives Matter, children were taught that boys could become girls, and the trans-inclusive Pride flag seemed to fly from every building in the country. Since then, there has been something of a retreat. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) industry still has a pulse and is more than capable of reinvention, but it is less confident and more defensive.
Why the change? Donald Trump’s second term in office is one reason for the vibe shift. The US President punctured all manner of sacred convictions as he signed executive orders to keep DEI out of education and men out of women’s sports. There have been legal challenges in the UK too, such as the Supreme Court ruling that ‘woman’ means a biological female.
The economic downturn is another explanation for the demise of woke. It is one thing to fund white privilege workshops and pay for pronoun badges when times are good; it is more difficult to justify such expenses when times are hard. (Although the NHS has clearly not got the memo on this one yet.)
But something else has happened, too. With less fanfare, but surely more impact, employees have been asking awkward questions and refusing to comply with DEI strictures that have nothing whatsoever to do with the job they signed up for.
This opposition was always there, of course. But while woke reigned supreme, criticism could lead to people being dragged through workplace disciplinary processes, losing their livelihoods, or being publicly shamed and cancelled. With complaints reduced to eye-rolls and whispers between friends, Human Resource officers were able to rule the roost.
Now comes proof that resistance towards DEI is not only on the rise, but that managers are taking note. A YouGov poll has found that more than one in three HR ‘decision-makers’ have faced pushback against equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives over the past year as both bolshy workers and parsimonious CEOs have made their feelings known.

England - University of Leicester, Women In Sport Society
We recently mentioned this new society. Kara Dansky pays tribute to them.
Today’s FFS Friday celebrates the women of the Leicester Women in Sport Society in the UK. They are fighting back against their Student Union, after the SU rejected their application.
We’re a proudly single-sex society! Many aspects of women’s sport require acknowledgment of biological reality. These include women’s health research, safety in contact sports, and fairness in competition.
The Leicester Women in Sport Society launched on April 19, 2026.
Their goals are to:
Protect and promote fairness for women in sport;
Identify and overcome barriers;
Create a support network for female student athletes;
Raise awareness about women’s health issues; and
Increase participation.
They say: “We’re a proudly single-sex society! Many aspects of women’s sport require acknowledgment of biological reality. These include women’s health research, safety in contact sports, and fairness in competition.”

TD: Mixed-sex toilet facilities ‘default design’ in new schools

Concerns have been raised about the safety and privacy of schoolchildren, after a TD claimed that mixed-sex toilet facilities are “now the default design standard for every new school” built in Ireland.
Aontú’s Peadar Tóibín said he acquired the information via a response to a Parliamentary Question.
The issue of mixed-sex toilets in Irish schools widely featured in the media in April 2023, when parents at a Co Kerry Educate Together school refuted claims that students were consulted about mixed-sex toilets at the school.
It emerged that parents were not asked or told about new toilets at the €16 million new school being gender neutral, which sparked parental backlash and saw the school reverse the proposed plan to have three floors of gender neutral toilets.
Aontú said on Wednesday that parliamentary questions have confirmed that the policy never went away, and said “only the public discussion around it did.”
It comes after author and journalist Estelle Birdy claimed in a viral post on X that Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School in Dublin had no separate facilities for males and females, and that there had been backlash over gender neutral toilets at the school – with the post trending on X.
“These are some of the toilets in the new Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School. [Dusty - see photo above] Every single toilet block is mixed sex. Every single cubicle had both male and female signs on the door. You’ll see that the school has printed off and laminated a couple of pieces of paper with arrows and the words ‘Male’ and ‘Female’ on them and stuck to them, in a makeshift fashion, on the shared sink bank,” said Birdy.
“Presumably, this is the school’s effort to appease the very large cohort of students who were incensed a couple of months ago when they found out that the school had decided to make all the toilets mixed sex,” she added.
The journalist said that “only people who are completely oblivious to the needs and desires of teenage girls especially, for privacy and dignity, would make teenage girls share toilet facilities with teenage boys like this.”
“Why have exclusionary toilet facilities been adopted in this publicly funded school?” she asked.
A poll previously commissioned by the The Countess.ie found that 62% of Irish people believe that toilets in public buildings should have to be single sex rather than gender neutral. The campaign group said at the time that evidence from other countries showed the moves will leave many young girls too afraid or ashamed to use the facilities.
“Research from the UK shows that the growing trend for mixed-sex toilets has left girls feeling unsafe and is putting their health at risk. Some girls are even missing school rather than face “period shaming” from boys. Many girls run the risk of infections because they’d rather deal with a full bladder than use the toilets. Others have simply stopped drinking liquids at school, which can lead to dehydration,” they said.
“The government is railroading mixed-sex toilets in after no consultation with parents and without carrying out the necessary impact assessment into the risks for young girls.”
“We are calling on the government to uphold the rights and protections of girls under this exemption.”
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Department of Education and Youth told Gript:
“Under the provisions of the Education Act, 1998 the board of management is the body charged with the direct governance of a school on behalf of the patron and the principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school including implementing school policies. In this context, the operation of sanitary facilities is a matter for each school authority.”
Aontú has said that gender-neutral toilets are standard for new Educate Together schools, adding today that it is now asking whether the State Claims Agency was consulted before this design standard was adopted.
“Schools building to this specification and operating mixed-sex facilities may be exposed to significant legal liability if a child is assaulted. Was any legal risk assessment carried out? If a claim is taken against a school arising from an incident in mixed-sex toilet facilities, who bears responsibility — the school that was handed this design, or the Department that mandated it?” the party said in a statement.
Aontú said it is calling on the Minister for Education to clarify whether any public consultation was carried out before the design standard was adopted, whether any safety or impact assessment was ever undertaken, and what specific measures have been put in place to protect the privacy and dignity of all students — “and in particular the physical safety of girls. These are decisions made centrally. They require central accountability.”
In a statement, the party said on Wednesday:
“The Rape Crisis Network Ireland asked the Department of Education to collect data on sexual bullying in schools as far back as 2013. That request was ignored. The Department has never collected data on where or how often sexual assaults occur in schools. It has nonetheless proceeded to design every new school in the country with mixed-sex toilet facilities — without consultation, without a safety impact assessment, and without any data to justify the decision.
“The safety implications are not theoretical. Cases of serious sexual assault have been reported in mixed-sex school toilet facilities in the UK, in schools where no prior safety or impact assessment had been carried out. Evidence from the UK further shows that girls are avoiding mixed-sex school toilets entirely — refusing to drink during the school day and neglecting sanitary care — due to embarrassment and fear.
“The new Irish design standard removes urinals entirely and replaces traditional single-sex facilities with cubicles opening onto shared washbasin areas. Genuine single-sex provision — where girls and boys have a fully private space including washbasins — is no longer physically possible in any new Irish school. Whether facilities are labelled male, female or mixed is left to individual school authorities. With sustained pressure from NGOs and lobby groups, the direction in which that choice will be nudged is not difficult to predict.”
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION RESPONSE
In response to a parliamentary question, Minister for Education, Hildegard Naughton told the TD:
“The School Design Guide document SDG 02-06 Sanitary Facilities published by my Department’s Planning & Building Unit provides guidance on the provision of sanitary facilities in all new primary and post-primary schools. It includes the following provisions:
“All sanitary facilities are to be designed with the physical and emotional safety of pupils in mind, to promote inclusivity and in order to remove the risk of bullying in the school environment. Toilets, corridors, cloakrooms, locker areas, changing rooms and showers may be the location of verbal, psychological and physical bullying. The behaviour of pupils in those areas requires careful monitoring through passive supervision.
“The location, design and layout of sanitary facilities must balance the requirement for passive supervision of sanitary facilities from circulation spaces with the dignity and privacy requirements of each user. Well-designed and well-managed sanitary facilities create cleaner, healthier spaces and are capable of being used, cleaned and maintained in a way that ensures safety and dignity of pupils and staff,” she added.
The statement said that the operation of sanitary facilities is a matter for each school authority.
“As such, early discussion in the design process between the Design Team and the School Authority in relation to the arrangement and layout of sanitary facilities is required’.
“The decision in relation to the identification, allocation, wayfinding or signage of the toilet facilities in every school is based on detailed conversations between the school authority and the design team at the earliest stage, and in compliance with the recommendations of SDG-02-06 as well as the requirements of the Building Regulations.
“The decisions relating to the identification of sanitary facilities will be based on the ethos and values of each individual school, agreed between design teams and the school authority at the outset of the design process. In every case, all options relating to the identification of sanitary facilities, gender specific or not, remain open to each school authority as is specified in legislation,” the Minister added.
“As such, SDG-02-06 satisfies entirely the requirements of all applicable legislative requirements in relation to the prevention of discrimination in our schools and does so through a spirit of partnership with each school authority.
“In addition, Universal Accessible Toilets are provided in schools in accordance with Part M of the Building Regulations and these are individual toilets designed to be self-contained units and therefore can be used by wheelchair users of all genders.”
The response further detailed: “The guidance for post-primary schools includes suggested room layouts for toilet facilities with the wash hand basins located in an area, directly off and open to the circulation space facilitating better supervision. All cubicle spaces containing WCs are designed as self-contained spaces with robust full-height separating walls and access doors.
“Student sanitary facilities in post-primary schools should be arranged in small blocks, not in a large central block. Small blocks increase the opportunity for passive supervision, discourage anti-social behaviour, reduce disruption caused by cleaning and maintenance, and cut down curriculum time lost through pupils visiting sanitary facilities during lessons.”
A number of elected councillors have waded into the debate around school toilets, including Independent Ireland’s Linda de Courcy.
“We shouldn’t have to spell out the ridiculously obvious reasons girls need access to safe and single sex toilet facilities,” said the councillor.
“A colleague & I stood at Navan Hospital after gender neutral toilets opened there. We conducted a survey over 3 or 4 hrs & asked visitors & staff alike if they agreed with them or not. 98% said they did not,” Cllr Emer Tóibín said:
Meanwhile, former Independent Seanad candidate Sandra Adams said that she had asked the Department of Education, under Freedom of Information, for evidence of risk or impact assessments carried out related to mixed-sex toilets in secondary schools.
“95 documents were released. Not one showed evidence of assessing the impact on girls and boys,” claimed Adams.

Some big news in New Zealand recently has been that the Broadcasting Standards Authority - the BSA – will be disestablished after the general election on 7 November this year. Some are rejoicing at this, and others are predicting dire consequences as a result. I’m in the former camp, particularly as the BSA has gone all-out woke, including the creation of guidelines called Complaints Concerning Gender Identity Issues.
Naturally, the guidelines have nonsense in them like saying ‘misgendering’ and ‘deadnaming’ are harmful, which I guess means hurt feelings, and “the trans community is particularly vulnerable”. Yeah, right. In other words, they reckon the most pandered-to demographic on the planet doesn’t get enough special treatment, so here are some guidelines to give them more. The BSA seems to have missed the stats which show that men who say they’re women are imprisoned for sexual offences at more than twice the rate of other men, and that they’re more likely to be murderers than murdered. Vulnerable, my rear end.
Apparently, it’s not considered demeaning to call women “people with cervixes”, though, and they claim that the Māori word ‘takatāpui’ is “a term used to embrace all Māori with diverse genders, sexualities and sex characteristics”. This is simply a modern-day stretch, to fit the trans agenda, of its original meaning of those attracted to the same sex as themselves.
They go on to state “NZ law recognises sex is not immutable. Our legal system has allowed changes to nominated sex on a birth certificate ….” That first assertion is a lie. There is nothing in legislation around sex self-ID at all which recognises that sex is now magically not immutable, because the marker can be changed on a birth certificate. That is pure fabrication by the BSA. Additionally, guidance from the Dept of Internal Affairs makes it quite clear that the sex marker on a person’s birth certificate does not have to be taken as proof of a person’s sex. I’ll be informing them of these facts, irrespective of their forthcoming dissolution, for the (unwanted, I suspect) edification of their staff wherever they may eventually end up. If I don’t get an obfuscatory reply, I’ll buy myself my first margarita in years.

In conducting research for this post, I came across a leaked clip of a lesson given to 9th graders in a school in Arizona. Many of us have heard about the phenomenon of school teachers and administrators pushing kids into “transition,” but very few of us have heard it with our own ears. If you listen, what you hear just might shake you to your core (it’s also worth watching because whoever posted it added some helpful visual content too).

Kara’s main story involves the US Department of Justice investigating the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) over accusations that it has been protecting sexual predators. The DOJ had previously announced in April that it would investigate the same district over a district policy of hiding students’ so-called “gender identities” from parents. Kara explains (behind the paywall) why she feels that it’s not a coincidence that those sentences appear in the same paragraph.

As well, many of the 80 women, the trans widows I’ve collected testimonies from report they were physically (and often sexually also) attacked by the crossdressing husband, such that she feared he was going to kill her and it was only her body’s reaction that saved her in the moment. Battery strangulation is shockingly common. The rate of sexual assault by these trans ideating husbands is 39% and the rate of separate physical assaults is 38% in my data from The Heggen Survey. America’s counterterror forces can no longer ignore the threat of extremism motivated by transgender ideology, and President Donald Trump’s new counterterrorism strategy rightly addresses this threat.
The counterterrorism strategy opens in a new tab, released Wednesday, outlines three major threats: narcoterrorists and transnational gangs; legacy Islamist terrorists; and violent left-wing extremists, including anarchists and anti-fascists.
That third category includes transgender ideology-motivated extremists.
According to the strategy, America’s counterterrorism efforts will “prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist.”
“Americans have witnessed the politically motivated killings of Christians and conservatives committed by violent left-wing extremists, including the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a radical who espoused extreme transgender ideologies,” the document adds.
It remains unclear whether the FBI will accept the Oversight Project and The Heritage Foundation’s request to use its authority under 18 U.S. Code § 2331 to designate “transgender ideology-inspired violent extremism as domestic terrorism,” but this document may enable that move.
The Trump administration deserves credit for taking this threat seriously, and also for pledging to address these threats “apolitically and founded upon reality-based threat assessments.” While the U.S. will examine left-wing extremism, the document pledges that America’s “counterterrorism powers will not be used to target our fellow Americans who simply disagree with us” in the way the previous administration did.

A Ukrainian immigrant family fled Soviet-style control for America in search of freedom and safety. Instead, they say California tore their family apart, seized their teenage daughter, labeled them child abusers, shut them out of her life, and handed authority over to the very system pushing her deeper into gender ideology. Alexandra and her husband came to the United States in 2007. Their daughter was born in Kiev. They built a life in America around hard work, family, and stability. They built a life here. They raised her with love, values, and hard work. Then in June 2024, California Child Protective Services took their 15-year-old daughter, not for proven abuse, not for neglect, but because they refused to affirm a sudden transgender identity and authorize a pathway toward medicalization.
The road to that removal began years earlier. From 2017 to 2020, while living in Massachusetts, their daughter was a lively, happy but hyperactive girl who was relentlessly bullied by classmates and even teachers. The school did nothing. The family sued, but the case was dismissed, and they had to leave Massachusetts. Reduxx reported that her mental-health struggles were worsened by persistent bullying at school beginning in first and second grade. The family had already relocated multiple times before finally settling in Redding. In 2021 they moved to affordable Redding, California, in Shasta County, just before the Fawn Fire.

Cross-dressing male activists have been getting more animated as of late because they recognize normal people generally oppose mutilating and sterilizing children with trauma or identity issues since that isn’t viable public policy, and as that door closes, we will come to realize that the same must apply to adults.
One of the more prominent activists is a man named John Walker Flynt (nom de troon Brianna Wu), a media figure covered in previous posts at this Substack. For his relevant personal history, please check this post, and for an update on his plastic surgery and pictures of his sawed-off jawbones, please see this post.
He posts life updates frequently on X, even though he threatens to leave the platform constantly, so we now know he recently found and met with his father and relatives (his mother died of breast cancer) after his adoptive family disowned him 20 years ago, and he is currently planning a rib breaking surgery…just a few more procedures and he’ll complete that dastardly elusive “transition” (he never will).
That response to an overly respectful woman who initially said children should wait until 18 to mutilate their bodies due to mental confusion was related to a video he posted this week about “trans” children. This is not complex. It is simple.
The video below [ Dusty - sorry, I can’t copy the video across] is approximately three minutes long, and it is a paradigmatic example of everything wrong with the Reasonable Troons™ and their fixation on children.
Finally, a man who had his face taken apart seven times is here to bless us with his hot take that some children were born in the wrong body. A moderate! A centrist, at last, to lead us out of this maelstrom because “the right” and “the left” will be ticked off—that’s both sides, so John is exactly what we need!
