I am deferring the update I was working on to bring you news from today’s Let Women Speak event in Sheffield at which Kellie-Jay has been, yet again, attacked. My friend Siobhan was there, and was standing near KJK when it happened and brings me this first hand report. Siobhan writes:

This was my second time at a LWS event and I went with my daughter in law. At the first event we did not have any activists like the ones that presented themselves in Sheffield. Kellie- Jay was just getting set up, sorting out the camera when a very tall man just shot from the back and emptied a whole can of tomato soup over her. The security were looking to the front as the trans rights activists were pushing the line forward and they were getting very close so we think this gave the opportunity for this hideous excuse of a man to take advantage of the situation. A woman who is a Park Runner, set off after him like lightning as did some other women. A man also shouted at the police that he thought milk had been thrown over Kellie-Jay. The women chased him into the clutch of about three police men. These activists were a sad sorry bunch, so angry, unwashed and in need of therapy, there are a lot of people with psychiatric problems I am sure. It’ was sad to see two young girls with mutilated bodies, how has this happened in a civilised society?

Here is the man who likes to assault women and try to stop them speaking. The Police later allowed him to put on a balaclava to disguise himself!

The misogynist in question has been confirmed to be Ben Lindsay, Graduate Associate in Student Equality and Diversity ( there’s a surprise) at Southampton Solent University. Looks to me like a guy who has never had a proper job in his life.
