Pausing the Heroes season for this choice from Rex Landy. Tonight’s theme, dear readers, is delusion. It seems to me that the young women ( who we sometimes refer to as ‘hand maidens’) who are standing next to the anti-women activists bawling at a Let Women Speak rally are delusional. Firstly, they think that men can become women and vice versa and that it is ok to sterilise and mutilate children. Secondly, they trust the men. The latter delusion may be their worst mistake at the end of the day!
Peter Jackson’s 1994 film Heavenly Creatures is based on a true (and horrific) crime that took place in New Zealand. It centres on two girls, Juliet ( played by Kate Winslet) and Pauline ( played by Melanie Lynskey) who invent a separate world that they really believe in. Their close friendship and also their delusional world lead to tragedy.
Thanks to two wonderful readers for suggested pieces.

BMA stance on Cass review of transgender care ‘has damaged its reputation’
The British Medical Association has threatened the reputation of all UK doctors by rejecting the findings of the landmark Cass review of transgender healthcare, a leading member of the BMA has told the Observer.
Dr Jacky Davis claims that the doctors’ union’s stance on the Cass review is “irrational”, has created a “fracture” between its leadership and the grassroots doctors it represents and left the medical profession “in an uproar”.
The BMA refused to endorse the findings of Dr Hilary Cass, whose review was published in April and was widely welcomed. It claimed the review contained “unsubstantiated recommendations” and its council called on members to “publicly critique” it. Last month, the BMA also called for the ban on prescribing puberty blockers for under-18s to be lifted.
The BMA is the only medical organisation in Britain to not accept and to find fault with Cass’s findings, which were accepted by the last government and its Labour successor. It has said that it wants to carry out its own evaluation.
Doctors on the BMA’s ruling council who have dared to challenge its criticism of the Cass review have been subject to “abuse” and its decision-making body is now shrouded in “a climate of fear and intimidation”, Davis claims.
Writing in the Observer, Davis, who has been a member of the association’s council for 18 years, says: “The BMA now finds itself isolated in its opposition to Cass, and with its reputation and integrity damaged.”

The Captured BBC
Great analysis by James Esses on Matt Goodwin’s substack as to how the British Broadcasting Corporation has been captured by the gender woo.
The BBC has been CAPTURED by radical gender ideology. Part II in our trilogy on the institutions
A look at how radical gender ideology has taken over the Beeb
Sep 09, 2024
“The BBC is committed to achieving due impartiality in all its output”. So says Section 4 of its Editorial Guidelines. If only this were true. Unfortunately, like the Financial Times, which I looked at last week, our national broadcaster, now also worships the cult-like religion that is radical gender ideology. And many of us have the privilege of paying £169.50 every year to watch the BBC embrace this dogma.
Don’t believe me?
Here are some of the most shocking examples of the BBC actively promoting radical gender ideology and throwing impartiality completely under the bus.
When looking at journalistic ethics, what better place to start than the BBC’s own editorial “style guide”, which instructs BBC staff how to present coverage.
Here, BBC journalists are told:
“a person born male who lives as a female would typically be described as a transgender woman … we generally use the term and pronoun preferred by the person in question”.
This one line alone signifies that the BBC is clearly content to completely disregard factual reporting based on reality.
For example, just a few weeks ago, there was significant international coverage of the grooming allegations made against MrBeast’s co-host, Ava Kris Tyson.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with MrBeast, he is a social media celebrity, with one of the largest online followings in the world.
Now, let’s make one thing clear, Ava Kris Tyson is a man.
He had a wife and fathered a child.
Then, in 2023, he decided to ‘transition’.
Yet, in line with the ‘style guide’, the BBC chose to refer to Tyson as a woman, writing: “MrBeast’s YouTube co-host Ava Kris Tyson has quit the channel after grooming allegations, which she denies”.
Here is a man, who claims he is a woman, accused of sexually grooming a young child. Yet, the BBC appears more concerned with using his preferred pronouns.
We witnessed more of this gender madness at the recent Paris Olympics, not to mention many other shocking examples of how it is being embraced by the BBC.
During BBC coverage of the women’s shotput, the commentator introduced one of the competitors, Raven Saunders —donning a mask and rainbow-coloured hair— saying “it’s good to see her back”. However, he was promptly corrected by his co-host, who said: “they are actually non-binary”.
If they’re not a woman, why are they in the women’s competition? This is something that went unanswered by the BBC commentator who, again, was clearly more concerned with getting pronouns right.
Such an embarrassing approach to journalism has even culminated, on multiple occasions, in the BBC using the ‘preferred female pronouns’ of male rapists and on one occasion even changing a rape victim’s quotes to avoid ‘misgendering’ her rapist.
This is utterly disgraceful. But it gets worse —a lot worse.

Labour’s Gay Grifter
Aren’t the Labour Party meant to be the party of the working class!!?? Anthony Watson doesn’t sound very working class! Great analysis of this major Labour donor and trans rights activist by Malcolm Clark on his substack, The Secret Gender Files. All thoughts gratefully received.
The Rise and Fall of Labour's Gay Grifter.
He donated a fortune to Labour, took Dawn Butler on an expenses paid trip to LA and screeched endlessly about trans rights. Now Anthony Watson has been dumped by the loss-making bank he founded.
Sep 08, 2024
The Labour Party likes to say the wealthy should not exert undue influence on our politics. That didn’t stop Anthony Watson trying to do just that and Labour was more than happy to take his money. Over £340K at the last count. And rising.
Yet as they complained loudly about so-called shady donors to the Conservatives, what did Labour politicians really know about Watson or his business record? Answers on the back of a postage stamp.
Watson’s story is bigger than that of a donor using his money to try to influence a political party. It is emblematic of how homosexuality has now become a marketing tool for the unscrupulous. This doesn’t just risk corrupting our politics. It amplifies the narcissism of some gay men, encouraging them to believe the intellectual potage of their unreconstructed views, flavoured with misogyny and ignorance, deserves to be taken seriously. Especially if it concerns Anthony Watson’s hobbyhorse: men in dresses.
They say you should write about what you know. I happen to know a lot about gay men which is why I tend to write about them a lot. I should say ‘us’, I suppose. The fact is I’ve been around long enough to recognise a certain type. Like the gay man gripped by a hunger for attention with a story to tell that somehow never quite stacks up. Don’t get me wrong, this type of gay man is no worse than his straight equivalent. Except in one key way.
Straight men don’t expect to be celebrated …for being straight. Some gay men now behave as if their sexuality makes them a fount of wisdom. Luckily for them, though not for the rest of us, we live in an exceptional moment, unparalleled in human history, where the mere act of identifying oneself as homosexual can confer this unearned status.
You’ll struggle to find a press story about Anthony Watson, the financial entrepreneur, major Labour donor and founder of the second UK clearing bank to win a license in 250 years, that doesn’t riff on his homosexuality. He’s routinely described as “one of the most influential gay men in the world” and his homosexuality is presented, not least by Watson himself, as part and parcel of his originality and alleged talent.
Watson’s homosexuality was one reason his new bank, Bank of London, garnered so many headlines when it launched in 2021.
It would also be used mercilessly as Watson organised petitions against the separation of the LGB from the T and accused LGB Alliance of being a hate group.
It would be front and centre too as he battled publicly with the likes of Helen Joyce, and buddied up with creepy Lord Cashman as he became Labour’s “Equality Czar”.
Watson’s homosexuality could not act as a special rainbow shield against reality forever though.
Last week his fortunes took a sudden turn for the worse.
We’ll get to Watson’s tumble soon enough. For now, let me just say that nothing struck me as so certain as his inevitable fall after he launched his bizarro bank in a blaze of uber-gay publicity.
There was much less publicity for the launch in 2017 of the first clearing bank to be created in 250 years, ClearBank. But then its press releases didn’t celebrate the sexual persuasions of their executives. Or their views on trans rights. It was almost as if those rather sober looking chaps (they were chaps) didn’t think it was relevant.
Compare two pictures. Above, Nick Ogden the founder of Clear Bank. And below: Anthony- did I mention I’m gay- Watson.
Who would you want running your money? Both images were approved by the gentlemen in question. Nick Ogden from ClearBank stares down the barrel of the lens. Watson not quite so much. I know who I would trust.
Here’s a radical thought then. Perhaps one’s sexuality is neither here nor there when it comes to business competence, strategic nous or even honesty. It’s not a thought likely to appeal to Watson. In June 2024, three years after the launch of Bank of London, he was keen to remind us he was homosexual. Still?!
Two weeks later in the same paper came another reminder. In case we had forgotten.
So here’s an even more radical thought. Perhaps serious people you hope will let you handle their money may conclude your need to bang on about your sexuality suggests you aren’t very serious at all.
Those rather boring business executives who work long hours and wear suits that might not be ready for a photoshoot may be even more likely to suspect you are not serious if you are chumping on about all things LGBTQ+ when the bank of which you are the CEO is haemorrhaging money.
And lo and behold.
Just months after Watson felt the need yet again to remind us how gay he was, he was shown the door. He resigned last week.

Unite With The Women Of Germany
This is what Labour want here in the UK!

Here is a piece from Eva Kurilova’s Newsletter about a new senator appointed by Justin Trudeau:
Meet Kristopher Wells, Trudeau's New Senate Appointment and Champion of "Trans Kids"
If he can't transition children, then he'll at least confuse the hell out of them
Sep 07, 2024

If you haven’t heard the news, I am sorry to be the one to break it to you: Justin Trudeau has appointed two new senators from Alberta, and one of them is a man by the name of Kristopher Wells. The problem is that Wells is a radical far-left queer activist who strongly believes that some children are “trans” and that those children should be able to transition hormonally and surgically. If you don’t agree with this, then Wells thinks you are a bigot responsible for youth suicides.
Wells is a former professor at the University of Alberta, where he served as the Faculty Director of the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (now the Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity) from 2012 to 2018. He then moved on to MacEwan University, where he became the founding Director of the MacEwan Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity. He was the co-founder of Camp Fyrefly (a camp for “queer and trans” youth ages 14 to 24) and the co-creator of Pride Tape (rainbow-colored hockey tape). Among the many organizations he’s been involved in include the Alberta Hate Crimes Committee.
I had the unfortunate experience of running into Wells in person when I attended a “2SLGBTQQIA+” stakeholder roundtable discussion last February. I was very taken aback by his unpleasant behavior, which I described at some length:
‘At one point, [Wells] went off on a tirade against the minister, his voice growing louder and louder. I would say one could easily interpret it as yelling. He was berating Fir about how she would be personally responsible for kids’ deaths.
‘I requested to speak and, when it was my turn, I told the minister that it was emotionally manipulative, abusive, and disgusting to lay dead children at her feet and at the feet of the Premier. Wells leaned out and told me I could say that directly to him, so I did. He then proceeded to try to argue with me and I told him very firmly that it was my turn to speak. I elaborated on the fact that it was highly irresponsible to tell children, especially children already struggling with mental health issues at disproportionate rates, that their Premier and their government hate them and want them dead.
‘Wells monopolized the conversation during the entire roundtable and requested to speak multiple times, as he was perfectly well allowed to do. But every time he spoke, he disrespectfully went on for very long periods. At the very end of the roundtable, when he was asked to keep it short, as two more people from his own side were still requesting to speak, he ate up the last 10 minutes and they did not get their final chance.
‘One of his final “points” was that there is a consensus on gender-affirming care (this was right after I had gone through the list of countries that have walked back their affirmative care model after a review, including Finland, Sweden, France, the UK), and that it was dangerous to question the consensus. Yes, Kristopher Wells is a proponent of the tyranny of the mob. After all, we know the way that science and medicine work is by never, ever questioning consensus.’
There is a lot I could say about Wells and about the various initiatives he has founded or been a part of. It would all go to show that he is an avowed ideologue bent on pushing queer theory and gender ideology onto society and that he smears anyone who pushes back even slightly as “hateful.”

Women’s Darts
JL ( see above) reports on the Glinner Update:
Women at the Sharp End
World darts is helping destroy the women's game.
Sep 08, 2024
Female darts players are being forced to compete against trans-identified males or they will face disciplinary action if they refuse.
As a professional competitive sport, women’s darts is still in its infancy. The first female world championship wasn’t held until 2001 and opportunities for female players to earn a decent living on the professional circuit remain scant. Nevertheless, women’s hard won competitions and opportunities are already being plundered by male players. It seems we are not allowed anything of our own, not even one tiny corner of an already male-dominated sport.
Noa-Lynn van Leuven is a Dutch professional darts player who has been playing darts since childhood and competed on the Netherlands youth team. Now 28 years old and identifying as trans, he has been making “Big strides in the Women’s Series” since he started competing in female competitions two years ago.
Last year Noa-Lynn van Leuven won the Denmark Women’s Open and took second place in the Welsh Classic Ladies Singles tournament. He also took part in the prestigious Women’s World Matchplay tournament, one of only eight players able to compete for the £10,000 prize pot. He knows his participation in the women’s game causes concern amongst female players but he doesn’t care. “If they really want to get rid of me”, he says, “They should play better. Practise more”.
JL concludes:
Women dart players should not have their trophies, prize money, competition places and opportunities stolen from them by men. They should not be expected to compete against males who have both physical and social advantages over them. And women should be entitled to their own sport - no justification required - free from males. Yet the very body which should be defending and protecting women’s darts is not only facilitating the participation of trans-identified males, it is robbing women of the right to protest this colonisation of their sport.
The WDF’s message to female players seems to be “Do as you’re told, ladies… or else”.

Australia - The Lesbian Action Group
Thanks again to Feminist Legal Clinic ( and for the next piece!).
‘We are seeking to discriminate’: lesbian group wanting to exclude trans women compares itself to Melbourne gay bar ( 09 September)
A lawyer for a Victorian lesbian group that wants to exclude transgender and bisexual women from its public events has compared its request to a Melbourne gay bar that was granted the right to refuse heterosexual people.
But a lawyer for the Australian Human Rights Commission said the Peel hotel’s exemption had been granted under Victorian state law to help gay men achieve equality, unlike the Lesbian Action Group’s application, which discriminates against transgender women.
The Lesbian Action Group (LAG) has asked the administrative appeals tribunal to overturn the human rights commission’s October decision preventing it from excluding transgender and bisexual women from its public events.
The commission argued that granting the LAG an exemption from usual gender discrimination laws could contribute to heightened health risks among transgender lesbians. It also looked to last month’s landmark Tickle v Giggle federal court decision, which found transgender women were women and should have access to women’s services such as LAG events.
The LAG’s counsel, Leigh Howard, told Fenwick the Tickle v Giggle decision was “binding” but “plainly wrong”.
Howard cited Melbourne’s Peel hotel, which was granted an exemption under Victorian state law giving the venue the right to refuse entrance to heterosexuals and lesbians and, after changes to the exemption, to anyone who upset the “character” of the venue.
“That is a really good example of how these exemptions are supposed to work,” he said. “May we please have one as well?”
Under cross-examination, the LAG’s Carole Ann said it was a “statement of fact” that the group does “not believe humans can change sex”.
She said young lesbian feminists told her there was nowhere for them to go.
“They are so isolated, they have no one else to talk to and they don’t know where to find the support,” she said. “There’s nothing anti-trans about our application at all.”
Sheila Jeffreys, a professor of political science at the University of Melbourne and lesbian feminist scholar, provided expert evidence to the tribunal.
“The fact is, there is a clash of rights here,” she said, speaking from the UK. “When men claim to be women, a clash of rights exists because women have existing human rights as women.”
Jeffreys said parts of the 2013 amendments to the SDA – which make it unlawful to discriminate against a person on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or intersex status – “don’t make any sense”. She said she feared they “make the law an ass”.
A decision is expected by December, after which it is possible the case may advance to the federal court.

The Census In Australia
Census to ask about gender identity after second government backdown
Treasurer Jim Chalmers on Sunday morning revealed the 2026 census would count transgender Australians for the first time, saying the government had listened to the LGBT community after equality advocates warned that being excluded from national data would worsen policy outcomes for minority groups.
Senior ministers, including Chalmers, had previously said that including questions about sexuality or gender in the next census would lead to a divisive debate.
The government announced two weeks ago, on August 25, that it was cancelling the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ plans to trial new questions that would identify sexually diverse, transgender and intersex Australians.
By the end of that week, an internal Labor revolt had provoked six MPs to speak out against the decision, and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said there would be one new question on sexual orientation. However, he came under fire for splitting the community by refusing to count transgender Australians.
On Sunday, Chalmers said the government had again changed its position and would include questions on gender. But he did not say there would be questions about intersex characteristics.

New Zealand - Resist Gender Education
Great satirical piece from Resist Gender Education but then followed up with a real life situation that is as bonkers as the satire!
The Future is Yellow
Sep 08, 2024
February 2026, in a school near you…
Malina put on her new Yellow lanyard and looked in the mirror. Had she gone a bit overboard with her full yellow outfit, she wondered? Maybe the yellow shoes were a bit much? But then, they did send the message that she was truly serious about ‘walking the talk’. No, her outfit was right for her important new position as Yellow Community Liaison teacher, Malina reassured herself, as she adjusted the yellow “THIS IS WHO I AM” badge on her lapel. She was ready for the start of the new school year, freshly branded, and being paid to do what she loved – to advocate for the human rights of students (and staff) who identify with Yellow. What could be better?
The job had got off to a really great start yesterday. After the caretaker had assisted Malina to raise the new Yellow school flag, she had strolled through the school admiring the lovely Yellow pennants festooning every corridor, to a warm introduction from the principal at the first staff meeting of the year.

New Zealand - Lesbian Resistance
Thanks to EDI Jester for drawing attention to this New Zealand group and here is their excellent deep dive into those countries that have introduced bans on (so called) conversion therapy. And the Labour Government in the UK have, of course, included a Conversion Practices Bill in the King’s Speech. Prepare for battle!

Also on the Lesbian Resistance website I found a video by three of the Kiwi women marshals at Kellie-Jay’s rally at Albert Park in Auckland on 25 March 2023. I hadn’t seen this video before. Scary stuff! Well done to the marshals for protecting Kellie-Jay along with her security team. Shocking dereliction of duty by the police!
Born In The Wrong Body
Excellent deconstruction by Amy Sousa (aka The Known Heretic) on her substack of the dangerous nonsense of ‘born in the wrong body.’
BORN IN THE WRONG BODY: The Dangerous Doctrine of the Disembodied Body - Part 2
The Embodied Body vs the Disembodied Body
Sep 07, 2024
Born in the Wrong Body
Part 1 of this series critiqued the notion of a mind/body duality especially as it is manifesting in the pseudo-psychological medical practice of “transing” aka body mutilating drugs and plastic surgeries. The nouveau trend of transgender ideology whose essential claim holds that one’s identity (mind) can be at odds with one’s sex (body) is rooted in a highly dangerous form of body dissociation in which medically endorsed self-harm and lifelong drug dependence is normalized as part of a healthy path to authenticity. The idea that a person can have a mind/body mismatch is a misunderstanding of the nature of our embodiment, which is wholistic. We are our bodies. There is no other thing to be.
As I have mentioned before, transgender propaganda uses highly manipulative linguistic ploys and marketing strategies to achieve public acceptance. One slogan used over and over in transgender lifestyle documentaries, books, and ad campaigns is the phrase, “born in the wrong body.”
Books, documentaries, celebrity news stories, and fashion campaigns have all used the slogan “born in the wrong body” as the reason why adults and kids should take endocrine-altering drugs and receive radical cosmetic surgeries to disguise their sex.
The recent release of Audrey Hale’s journal by the Tennessee Star reveals how the girl’s depression and anger that led her to go on the Covenant School killing spree was fueled by the belief that she was “born in the wrong body.” As Hale’s story tragically reveals, to hate one’s body is to hate oneself.

“Born in the wrong body” is shorthand for a mind/body mismatch. This is the psychological and physical practice of dissociation. To be dissociated is to ignore the physical signals of one’s body, to mentally and literally sever parts of one’s body, and to deny the wholistic integrity of one’s self. Although the drugs and surgeries are sold as a path to authenticity, true authenticity is not congruent with deceptive practices performed in a dissociative state. To be in a state of true authenticity one must accept one’s embodiment and be responsive to one’s adaptive signals and senses.
Regardless of what we think about ourselves, or even how much we attempt to dissociate, we are always sensing ourselves in our embodiment as men or women. Our sensed embodied experience is not only foundational to our ability to listen and respond to our primary safeguarding instincts but is necessary for the development of healthy bodily autonomy and boundaries.

Another stunning update Dusty, thank you. In particular, the two videos…..Germany’s shame and New Zealand’s shame, both incredibly chilling to see.
Sorry to be depressing but I’m not sure that we’re making much progress. It’s true that more people are aware of the issues but hardly anyone seems to care enough or think that it’s important enough to say anything. I can only think that it’s because it’s mainly women and children who are affected. For example, the James Esses piece. Normally Matt Goodwin gets loads of comments on the substack but the Esses piece was really slow with a comment towards the end which suggested that James needed to check his facts and stop being hyperbolic. And all the while the ideology is becoming more deeply embedded and people are just accepting it as part of everyday life. Sorry again! 😁
