This is an astonishing interview! We all knew about Lia Thomas and how outrageous it was that he, after being well down the field on the men’s side of things, was now winning events in women’s swimming. We all knew about how he used the women’s locker ( changing) room. But when you hear the full details it is even more of a scandal than is immediately apparent.
When Riley first competed against him she (miraculously) tied with him. But they gave him the trophy without any better explanation than he needed a photo opportunity. Jordan asks why other women swimmers had not come forward and Riley explains how they had been intimidated. They had to attend a weekly “LGBTQ” session where it was explained how they “being cis gender were oppressing Lia Thomas.” When they and their parents complained about Thomas using the locker room they were told that, if they had a problem with seeing male genitalia, they should get counselling.
Jordan refers to the actions of the administrators of women’s swimming as being “criminal” for how they treated the women and for what “the idiot, virtue signalling woke administrators laid on them [ the women] when they were doing nothing but trying to defend themselves.”
Riley describes how the women were not told that Thomas would be sharing the locker room with them. When he came in, she immediately left and went and challenged an official. The official said that “we got around that by making the locker rooms unisex.”
Jordan describes this as a “100% betrayal” by the administration, indeed he describes it as “conniving, cowardly, subtle, sneaking, camouflaged betrayal.”
Riley went on to give a speech at San Francisco University where she was then mobbed and had to be barricaded in a room for 3 hours. This was, effectively kidnap and extortion since the anti-women activists - AWAs - were demanding to be paid for her release. The next day the Vice-President of the University said that “we applaud our brave students who were met with adversity.”
When we eventually win - and we will win, Terven - several public inquiries will be required and those in power who facilitated all this must be brought to account.
Brave Riley says that the protestors have no arguments which is why they react like they do. Exactly!
The first 50 minutes or so of the interview discuss how much work is required to become an elite swimmer and also the qualities that are required to be a team leader, which is interesting but you may want to skip that to get to what we regard as the nitty gritty.
Breaking News - Sex is Binary!!
If you want to present the simple facts to prove why we are right , go no further than Dr Colin Wright, expert evolutionary biologist, here giving a speech to the Independent Council on Women’s Sports. He clearly presents the biological reality. Then he goes carefully through the various arguments about sex being a spectrum and clinically debunks each of them. There is then a very interesting Q & A.
Let Women Speak
I previously reported on the LWS event at Reformer’s Tree on 30 April:
https://dustymasterson.substack.com/p/let-women-and-girls-speak
I later mentioned that, in an otherwise excellently policed event, there was one ‘scuffle’ though I did not see that happen. The excellent Alf Up A Tree has pieced together video footage to show that the AWAs were trying to skirt around the end of the police line. The police reacted a bit slowly to this development. Three LWS stewards were trying to stop them doing this skirt around movement. One of the stewards ended up surrounded by AWAs and had to be rescued by her colleagues and the police. Clearly she was not herself being aggressive but was being pushed by the AWAs.
Meanwhile I will , trains permitting, be at Birmingham LWS tomorrow. If any of my wonderful readers are there , please come and find me. Black Thought Criminal T shirt and trilby. Hanging around at the back. Can’t miss me 😎

Dylan Mulvaney
EDI Jester reports on an article in The Telegraph about the Bud Light ad and all the money that the parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has lost as a result.
This gives me an excuse to remind people that Bud tried to recover some ground by then putting out a more traditional galloping horse ad. This led to an absolutely brilliant p**s take of that ad! As reported by yours truly here (and why not check out the opening scene of Three Billboards again while you’re at it! 😎):

The only thing I will mention from the latest one is the wonderful ad in Northern Ireland that has been put up in advance of the local elections there:

Can I also take the opportunity of recommending STILLTish’s wonderful newsletter.

Victor Madrigal-Borloz
Mr Madrigal-Borloz is the UN Rapporteur on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI). He recently visited the UK. EDI Jester reports on Mr M-G’s report back after that visit. On his first nine days in the UK he met with AWA groups. On his tenth day he met with LGB Alliance, Lesbian Labour and the Gay Men’s Network and also with Joanna Cherry MP. Obviously (with all due respect to those wonderful people) they were an afterthought!
His report back comes down, of course, squarely on the side of Stonewall and the AWAs. Bev Jackson of LGB Alliance has done a great analysis of this. She asks what happened to the SO in SOGI? She says that teaming SO with GI is like teaming veganism with chicken farming.

Thanks for a great round up Dusty. The Colin Wright lecture was new to me but it is so useful, well worth saving. The bit at the end where he touches on the meanings of words being changed and how this makes discussion impossible , is pertinent to the Orwellian turn that this fight is taking. It’s becoming clearer by the day that this is not just about women’s rights and the safeguarding of children. It’s about truth, reality and the fight for freedom of thought, speech and belief in the face of increasingly authoritarian ideologues and law makers.
Riley Gaines comments on the police at around 1:40 are chilling. The police were terrified and too scared to do their jobs, not because of the violence, but because they might be sued for being racist or transphobic.
Victor Madrigal- Borloz is a disgrace but he illustrates just how far this insanity has spread and how deeply embedded it has become, in such a short time. The huge sums of money behind it all need much more scrutiny. Where are the journalists and broadcasters? Stilltish and others are doing good work here but we need more to join the fight.
What a great poster, well done WRN.
Have a good day, the weather’s in your favour.
