An Australian "equality" bill would reduce gender medicine safeguards for minors

Under the rubric of “equality”, a draft law in Australia’s most populous state of New South Wales would allow gender-distressed minors aged 16-17 to authorise their own irreversible hormone treatment, with risks including sterilisation and sexual dysfunction. The Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2023 would also permit doctors in some circumstances to give children under 16 puberty blockers without the knowledge or consent of parents. Multiple systematic reviews of the scientific literature—including those most recently undertaken for England’s Cass review—have found the evidence for these hormonal treatments to be very weak and uncertain.

If enacted, this state “equality” Bill would be in conflict with a requirement under federal family law for court approval of gender medicine for minors if there is disagreement between parents. The NSW Bill was introduced by independent member of parliament Alex Greenwich, was referred for inquiry to a committee, which is due to report by June 3. “Pro-Pedophile” Activist Group Celebrates As Germany Decriminalizes Child Porn Possession

Germany’s Parliament (Bundestag) has received the votes necessary to remove a section of the Criminal Code which made the possession of child sexual abuse materials a felony crime. Once the bill, passed last Thursday, comes into effect, minimum sentences for the possession of child pornography will be reduced, and the offense will be downgraded to a misdemeanor.

According to the Bundestag, the bill stipulates that “possession and acquisition should be punishable with a minimum penalty of three months’ imprisonment, and distribution with a minimum penalty of six months’ imprisonment. The offenses regulated in Section 184b of the Criminal Code are therefore classified as misdemeanors and not as crimes.”

The possession of child sexual abuse materials was first classified as a crime in 2021 after Federal Justice Minister Christine Lambrecht of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) introduced a minimum sentence of one year for the offense. The move classified the act as a felony, which it remained for three years until this most recent downgrade.

Responding to the passage of the bill, chairman of the association “German Children’s Aid” (Deutsche Kinderhilfe – Die ständige Kindervertretung), Rainer Becker, pointed out that Germany could violate a directive from the European Union that classifies any child pornographic media as a serious criminal offense with the change to the law.

"The sexual abuse of children in accordance with Section 176 of the Criminal Code was rightly and understandably defined as a crime in 2021. So-called child pornography is largely based on the sexual abuse of children, and in this respect it was only logical to make the offense of Section 184b of the Criminal Code a particularly serious offense, a crime, in this context. Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament... clearly states that crimes such as child pornography are serious crimes."

Students In Animal Costumes: A Cute Oppressed Minority Needing Affirmation?

Despite official denials, furries in school are now pretty much public knowledge, but what’s the problem? Furry is a playful subculture attracting a large number of kids sanctioned as a gender identity and assigned a rainbow flag with paw prints. Although not formally recognized as a sexual orientation, furry is included under the LGBTQ plus umbrella and often considered kink.

While furry meet-ups include innocent animal-themed cosplay, opportunistic males may wear furry costumes to gain access to kids. If that seems far-fetched, consider Aaron Zeman, a self-described demi furry fox (demisexual "furry") who was arrested on charges of kidnapping a 13-year-old boy from Layton City, Utah. While the case also involved online enticement, the furry identity can conceal predatory intent. Utah is also where students from a middle school staged a walk out to protest their school’s permissive practice of allowing furries on a routine basis to disrupt classes, utter animal noises, crawl on all fours, and scratch or bite classmates.

Dusty - I do also wonder if some of these children are just rebelling against the gender madness? All thoughts gratefully received.
