The PITT piece on Shana Gaviola is ridiculous. Rather than writing to Trump (the office of the president routinely receives upto 65,000 letters per day). Those of you on X should get that story to the attention of Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan and Elon Musk (Musk especially given his personal history). The Republican party are much more likely to take action when there is that much public exposure.
Good point although I feel inclined to ask Trump whether he’d consider taking us as refugees from an authoritarian nut house. Elon Musk is probably the best bet, he’s got his head screwed on. Rogan often appears to me to be surprisingly ignorant of basic facts.

I’m confused as to why the finger pointing incident has gone viral too, particularly from the point of view of Terfery. If she’s a Terf then we should celebrate every bit of help but I haven’t seen any evidence of that yet….and she’s had plenty of opportunity to speak out. So I suppose we should hope that she does soon and perhaps all the support will encourage her to be braver.

I wasn’t sure what was going on at first - I was seeing bits of info here and there and just assumed that the pointing clip was her pointing to a trans-identifying male opponent.
Still, I'm glad it blew up! I think of it as Operation “Let Them React”. There wouldn't have been so much media focus if the WBNA higher-ups and managers hadn't reacted so strongly against the notion that biological men don't belong in women’s sports. Especially the club manager having a go and swearing at two 16-year-old girls in the stadium for supporting Cunningham’s stance.
