It was a great demonstration today at the German Embassy in London - great turnout. I couldn’t hear any of the speeches unfortunately ( I am sure they were great and will try and locate them online) because I was multi tasking on the side of the pavement holding one end of one banner and one end of another banner 😄
Who said men can’t multi task 😂
There were roadworks so the traffic was sitting there for a long time and we were getting some good reactions from the vehicles including thumbs up from an ice cream man😃 Lots of beeps in support. Great singing of ‘Women’s Rights Are Human Rights’.
I had a brief chat with Mr Menno. Saw lots of other GC illuminati including one POW candidate at the general election. Had load of chats with wonderful Terfs. I did a practice interview with my mate, Mark and will transcribe that for the next update ( not yet moving to podcast!). The first photo below is not mine but the rest are mine. In the last photo, in the middle, are my mates Sue and Mark 😀

Afterwards lots of us went to the Star Tavern round the corner.

Sounds like an excellent day. I had a special moment on the train today. A woman was standing next to me waiting to get off. I noticed her tote bag said 'LGB Alliance '. I wordlessly touched the bag, smiled at her and gave her a little thumbs up. We shared a moment of smiling and then she and I went on with our days. It was a beautiful experience.
Awesome, Dusty! Fantastic to see such a crowd there. Ours here in NZ was considerably more modest - lol! However, a few strong and determined souls did get out there and hang a banner over a Wellington motorway, and then stand outside the German Embassy for a while before moving to a courtyard in the park opposite to do speeches. I went to Wellington for the day as part of the Women's Rights Party to show support, and will write about it soon. In the meantime, I did my first livestream of the banner over the motorway.
