Update 514. The Epistles to the Terfians. #BeMorePorcupine

Due to the build up of pieces I want to bring to you, dear readers, I am putting this one out before my ‘rugby day’ on Saturday.

I have spent the last fortnight ( start with Musing on 20 January I suggest) featuring the Executive Orders which most concern us Terfs. I intend to put them all into one update asap. I am beginning to think of them as The Epistles of Donald Trump to the Terfians!

As we move into 2025 I will be featuring, to start with, and in alphabetical order, those Readers’ Choices for best film ever that did not make the top seven ( see Update 500 for the top seven).

This time we have a late nomination from our great Terf friend in New Zealand, Rex Landy, namely the Brazilian film Central Station (1998). Rex writes:

It's a love letter to Brazil, poignant, moving, enraging and thrilling with a true redemption at the end.

Dora writes letters for the illiterates who need the occasional missive. Bitter, single, drinky, Dora doesn't send them but instead laughs at the choice ones with her neighbour after work at Central Station. She writes a letter for a woman who is killed and her young son is left behind. Dora takes him in for a night then sells him.

You'll have to watch it to find out how this works out. It is superb.

Trump Ends Radical Indoctrination in Schools

President Trump has only been in office for nine days and he has already accomplished so much for the country. However, today he took it to the next level…

President Trump signed an Executive Order ending the radical indoctrination of children within our school systems!

This monumental executive action strikes at the heart of what we strive for at Libs of TikTok. For far too long, woke activists have been allowed to infect our school systems. We have fought against this for years. We got attacked and censored because of it. But it was all worth it.

With this EO, Trump aims to dismantle anti-American propaganda being fed to your children and to provide them with a “rigorous education and to instill a patriotic admiration for our incredible Nation and the values for which we stand.”

No more anti-American nonsense!

Additionally, Trump’s new Executive Order seeks to eradicate the dangerous gender ideology which has led to the destruction of girls’ sports, the sexual grooming of children, and the mutilation of healthy bodies & genitalia. Any school caught spreading gender ideology will be stripped of their funding.

Woman: Adult Human Female

Jan. 26 - Rape Crisis Scotland’s long-awaited new guidance does linguistic gymnastics to explain still allowing men to access spaces

In the wake of what anti-genderwang campaigner Carolyn Brown (of Scottish Professionals Advising on Gender) called “furore and controversy which has split the organization”, RCS committed to revising their guidance on how they define what a woman is… only to completely dissapoint Brown and other critics. Though RCS was founded to specifically protect and support women against sexual violence by men, its ‘new’ guidance is filled with “weasel words allowing men to continue to use the service”.

When they say “female”, RCS is: “signifying an ordinary biological perspective on women.”
When they say “woman”, they mean: “anyone who self-identifies as a woman. We use this language as it corresponds to a gendered perspective.”

Ooo-kaaayyy… Anyway, the upshot of it is that men can still access what are meant to be safe women’s spaces and we should be fine with that because of course they would not do that thing that was just discussed in the above headline and you should be ashamed of yourself for even thinking it, bigot.

For real though, here are some sage (and 100% clear) words from Brown: “Sex and gender are quite different. Gender is a social construct and changes as society changes. Sex is a biological reality which cannot be changed…. The construct that a safe and effective environment can be achieved while sex and gender is confused is simply a lie which increases risk and psychological harm for women and children.”

And a reminder that female victims of rape can still receive single-sex support at Beira’s Place, thanks to beloved TERF Queen J.K.

Males in Female Sports

Jan. 30 - Second UK teen soccer player suspended for asking if opponents were male

A UK teen was given a six-game suspension (lowered to four when she accepted the charge), required to complete an “online education course” and received seven disciplinary points from her club for suggesting to a referee that some opponent players might not be eligible to play because they appeared to be men. The Football Association allows men to play in the women’s league, and of course it could hurt male feelings, so this was not appreciated.

The teenager in turn did not appreciate the punishments for speaking her mind, telling Telegraph Sport that the ban “kind of made me hate football.” She added, “If I say anything else, I get another six-game ban. So I can’t even stand up for myself at this point.”

This incident follows after a similar case in November in which another teen asked an opponent player if they were a man, resulting in a discrimination charge and a six game ban.

New Zealand - Language … and Stupid People

On her excellent substack, A B’Old Woman Katrina Biggs discusses a submission process concerning the Treaty of Waitangi Bill.

The stupidity of intelligent people.

Do they really lack contextual thinking abilities, or is it feigned?

Currently in New Zealand, we are having a submission process on the ‘Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi’ Bill. To those outside NZ, I won’t try and explain this to you in depth with all its complexities. However, simply speaking, the Bill asserts that the Principles should confer equality on all New Zealanders irrespective of ethnicity, with the exception of legitimate grievance claims from Māori. Suffice to say, it is a contentious issue, and people and groups are now making their case either for or against the Principles to a Parliamentary Select Committee.

Amongst those who’ve made a submission is Dr Jo Lambert, Chair of the New Zealand College of Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Dr Lambert has taken exception to the concept of equality in the Principles, claiming that equality "assumes that we all have the same experience, that we all have the same resources, the same privileges, that we come from the same background."

Then, goes on to say that “if she applied the principles of equality in a health setting to a patient who came in vomiting - "whether they're a six-month-old pēpi [baby], whether they're a 12-year-old male, a 30-year-old person with a uterus, or an 80 year old" - that would mean she would ask the same questions, order the same investigations, offer the same advice and medicine.”

So, first of all, Dr Lambert refers to a boy or a man as a male, but a woman is referred to as a person with a uterus. Then, bizarrely, implies that ‘equality’ in a clinical setting would mean all patients receive the same medical treatment all the time. How many doctors, apart from Dr Lambert, have ever thought that when committing to treating all patients equally it means that?

Then, she goes on to say “By using the principle of equality I would be wasting resources because three out of those four people don't need a pregnancy test”.¹ Does ‘stupid’ even begin to describe this statement? It’s a tad scary how she, a clinical doctor, appears to be completely devoid of contextual thinking.

Is she serious, or just using sophistry?

I think it’s fair to deduce that Dr Lambert is not a fan of equality. Certainly, she doesn’t seem to bestow respect equally upon women and men in how she refers to them. My guess is that she prefers the word ‘equity’ over ‘equality’, because ‘equity’ means she can play that card any way she wants.

How gender identity ideology denies the rights of Australian lesbians to meet and organise

In the 1980s, the city of Melbourne was a magnet for young lesbian women making their way from sleepy outback towns and quiet suburbs to the big smoke. Inner city Melbourne was the place to find lovers and friends, and it was a thriving community of musical, artistic, and curious women. At venues like Club 397 on Swanston St; the Burnley Tavern in Richmond; St Kilda Town Hall; the San Remo Ballroom, Daylesford Town Hall and Fitzroy Town Hall, women listened to female acapella groups, danced to the latest disco and dressed up for the gayest of gay balls. The Sydney Opera house even hosted a thousand lesbians who raised $500,000 to buy a permanent community space while Perth welcomed hundreds of lesbians for an annual camping event.

It all feels like a lost Golden Age now—because in 2025, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal declared women-only events illegal, overturning an earlier exemption request from the Lesbian Action Group to the Australian Human Rights Commission.

When Rights turn into Wrongs

The finding against the Lesbian Action Group’s appeal is proof of how successfully the LGBTQi+ behemoth has destroyed the rights of all women but in particular lesbians who have been denied their freedom of association to meet and celebrate with their own community. So how has this happened?

Under Julia Gillard’s Labor government, the SDA 2013 was amended to replace the word ‘sex’ with the concept of ‘gender identity’ which is defined in the Act as:

“Gender identity means the gender-related identity, appearance or mannerisms or other gender-related characteristics of a person, whether by way of medical intervention or not with or without regard to the person’s designated sex at birth.”

This is a definitional negation that defines the term by what it is not – like defining light as ‘not darkness’, or freedom as ‘not oppression’. By removing from the definition everything that it is ‘not’ it reads:

“Gender identity means the gender-related identity, appearance or mannerisms or other gender-related characteristics of a person.”

By including ‘gender identity’ in the legislation Australia has created the legal fiction that a man can simply self-declare himself to possess the gender identity of a ‘woman’ and be recognised as such.

Dusty - I have often said that, as soon as you put the word ‘gender’ in legislation you are in trouble!! We await Sall Grover’s appeal!

Ute Heggen on her substack and on You Tube has been collecting vital information from ‘trans widows’, women whose husbands have suddenly declared that they are ‘trans.’ Here is an excellent piece about ‘Robin’ - Ute goes on to mention her sons who she is tragically estranged from due to the actions of her former larping husband.

I wish I had the secret method to prevent your ex-husband, father of your children, from turning them against you in adulthood. I’ve done a bit of snooping into my sons’ social media accounts, with the conclusion that they’ve completely given fealty to their father, his wife and their step-brother, in this time of political polarization. I blame the psychologists and doctors who gave no value to us as mothers, never bothering to study our lives after they “transitioned” that patient.

Robin’s testimony tells of a young child, just like my younger son, above. If you’ve already been subscribed to YouTube channel, Trans Widow Ute Heggen, you’ve become familiar with the patterns. When these men aren’t downright violent, they often menace, punching the wall around her or touching her intrusively when the sleep-deprived new mother is trying to get to sleep. As I review these earlier testimonies, I’m struck again with how strong and predictable these abusive behaviors are in this population of crossdressers. This is why I always tell a woman who writes saying she just found his secret stash of lingerie, that she has to find a way to leave, now.
