Andrew Doyle makes it on to our Gender Critical Month for the second time with this speech on Free Speech Nation. “How is it that a supposedly sane society permitted the medicalisation of children who do not conform to gender stereotypes.”
He refers to Pink News ( otherwise known as Pr*** News) praising the government of Pakistan who (briefly) supported ‘transition’ because they don’t want people to be gay or lesbian (indeed it is unlawful there).
Please keep the suggestions for speeches, songs or poems coming in.
Let Women Speak
Thanks to Shirley Briggs, one of the stewards at the Geneva event, for confirming to me: “I was there as a steward and the police had no need to let them march forward. Plus they had the power to confiscate their amplification because they had no permit to protest. WE had a permit!” Well done to Shirley and all the other brave stewards at yesterday’s event and very glad that KJK and everyone else got away safely.
Thanks to Aja the Empress for this delightful photo of a masked man at the rally doing a ‘gun to the head, sign at the LWS women.
Equality Act Debate
Some great speeches on our side of the argument from such as Tonia Antoniazzi, Rosie Duffield, Miriam Cates, Ranil Jayawardena, Angela Richardson, Nick Fletcher, Peter Bottomley, Tim Loughton, Andrew Lewer, Jonathan Gullis, Neale Hanvey and Joanna Cherry and I couldn’t believe my ears when it appeared that Labour MP Jess Phillips was coming out on our side of the argument!! Some very annoying speeches on the other side especially from Lloyd Russell-Moyle!
Priceless bit where Kirsty Blackman MP ( not on our side) says nobody has been able to define ‘biological sex’, she presumes she has XY chromosomes and has “a fair idea of what my genitals look like” at which stage Joanna Cheery ( who is behind her) puts her head in her hands. 😎

You can find the debate here (it’s long!)

Now can we please get the Act amended to make it clear that ‘sex’ means ‘biological sex’.

Glinner Update
As ever an amazing if horrific update from JL.
Regarding such as Michael Horwitz and Layla Le Fey who the police and the media describe as 'she' and 'her' I join with Brendan O'Neill, author of 'A Heretic's Manifesto' (who I mentioned in yesterday’s update), who described this as 'the purist form of tyranny'.
Surely the NHS Guidance needs a legal challenge. As Helen Joyce has said, it is permitting sexual assault!
Horrible to hear about the Glasgow schools being indoctrinated by Stonewall!!

Irish Hate Crime Bill
I reported on this Bill here:
https://dustymasterson.substack.com/p/thought-crime-irish-style
The wonderful organisation The Countess are holding a protest tomorrow in Dublin:
Last chance to stop the Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill from becoming law. We have got to stop this country from sleepwalking into authoritarianism. This bill will kill free speech and due process, both are guaranteed under the Constitution.
Join us to demand this bill does not go through.
Join us to save free speech..
Tuesday 13th June, 1pm.
Outside Leinster House.
Best of luck to The Countess and all others campaigning against this awful piece of legislation.
Julie Szego
The Age is a daily newspaper in Melbourne, Australia, that has been published since 1854.
Feminist Legal Clinic report on The Age sacking one of their regular columnists, gender critical campaigner Julie Szego (The Age sacks star columnist amid gender furore 12 June):
The editor of The Age has sacked one of the masthead’s star columnists, Julie Szego, after she took aim at the publication over its refusal to run an article on youth gender transition.
Last week, Szego posted on social media that while she had been commissioned to write a feature-length story about the contentious issue by the newspaper’s former editor Gay Alcorn, The Age’s current boss Patrick Elligett refused to run it.
Szego, a freelancer who has written for The Age on and off for more than two decades, subsequently chose to self-publish the 5000-word piece on her own Substack page, telling her social media followers about her new blog: “I’ll be writing about gender identity politics … without the copy being rendered unreadable by a committee of woke journalists redacting words they deem incendiary, such as ‘male’.”
“I love my former comrades at The Age,” Szego said.
“I have no bitterness whatsoever, but this issue of gender identity politics is causing tensions in newsrooms around the world and The Age is no different.”
Szego also said the fact that she attended the controversial Let Women Speak rally in Melbourne in March had been used as part of a whispering campaign against her.
“Patrick told me he could not publish my piece under my byline because it would damage the reputation of the masthead,” she said on Sunday. “I would suggest he’s damaged the masthead more by not publishing it.”
Well done, Julie.

Watch this after you have read the Glinner Update:
I am visiting my mate, Fingers in deepest, darkest Hampshire from Tuesday to Thursday to help him with his garden ( he is 82!). No doubt he will have loads of Times cuttings for me. Not sure about when I can get updates out but I’ll do my best. Keep those speeches, poems and songs coming in please 😎👍
Say a big thank you to Fingers on our behalf.
